A proud owner of 4 Rabari tribe shawls, ALL from Guarjat.
Hands down, NOTHING compares with craftsmanship.
Each shawl is hand woven, hand dyed, and hand embroidered.
Trust me when I say each are masterpieces.
The weave is so tight you can not see through the fabric.
My shawls are from the 70’s believe the hair is camel, and toasty warm.
I live in Colorado in The States, winters easily drop to -15F or lower. Especially in Aspen, Colorado.
These shawls are so well made, that they are the real deal, and thing.
Nothing compares. Period!
I own, Russian Sable, yak, alpaca, wool pieces, but these Rabari tribe shawls are spectacular in every sense of the word.
Absolutely beautiful. Glad this art is still being practiced. I would be a shame for it to die out. A great family legacy. No doubt these wonderfully skilled people are very much underpaid.
