This color-story is gorgeous. I already have a lot of dark color palettes, and a colorful-neutral palette with beautiful duo/multi chromes is very appealing to me. Both looks you created were amazing. If I had to chose I'd lean more towards look 1, but really it's a tie!
I was surprised by the reveal after loving the cover art but this isn’t a bad thing for me as sometimes getting too literal can be a bit too much. The name is Dragon Eye and that duo/multichrome green hits the mark! This is definitely a Maybe palette for future consideration. The eye looks you did put it solidly in the Probably Gonna Get It category 😂😂😂
The packaging is to die for but the colour story not so much. This needed a deep dark emerald matte in my opinion. Stunningly beautiful shimmers though 🐉✨
Hi Debbie, I agree with you! Their prior two palettes are likewise heavy on the pinkish-brown matte shades. I like having one such shade in palettes, as it is useful on my skintone, but not so many ranging from light to dark in the same palette.
I just used this today and loved it!!! It's so sparkly and wearable color and I'm loving it! I do agree that it needs a glitter glue and primer is a must because the mattes are so soft but it heald up really well on my oily lids after some prep work.

I also would've like to see a deep green, but I like the purple and mauve matte shades. This is going on the maybe list for me. I wonder what they're holiday sales might be to save some $$... Look # 2 is my favorite. I want to see the purple shade packed on the lid with the darker green shimme on top...

Besides Odens Eye I don’t own a lot of indie palettes but this one seems wearable if that makes sense? I’m usually not into super rich shades or intense colors. The packaging on the inside reminds me of ABH. Absolutely love everything about this! I may have to buy. 😮❤

True, such a disappointing color idea, if this had been done by another brand it would have been insanely great. You can’t please everyone, but this lacks oomph.
🐉 I've been seeing sneak peeks & reviews/first impressions for a few days now. I'm not a fan of sparkly shades, I won't be picking this up. But the special shades & packaging is so beautiful & stunning. It got me taking a 2nd look. I would of preferred jewel toned shades. I love the 1st look. Love a green look 💚
Loved your first look! However suuuuuper disappointed by the colorstory compared to the cover, I was expecting jeweled tones with greens, purples and blues but it ended up being a neutral palette with a pop of green. And that green multichrome is also in the Adept Arrow palette that I own, and is also in the upcoming Cosmic Brushes Winter Wonderland that I’m definitely gettting, so that Dragon Eye is an easy pass for me!

I was hoping to pick this up but i feel they missed the mark in not putting a deep green and an olive shade in this palette to match the cover. It is pretty but too similar to Geodes. I have such a long list fornblack friday i have to trim it down and i cant buy everything even though I want to so this one is a pass... for now. But maybe in the future ill pick it up. ❤
I had never heard of this brand but the dragon art just drew me in!! I think it might be used by other brands once they see all the reviews for this pallet. I like the women who said not all pallets are literal and that how I see it the duocromes are definitely dragon eyes and some scale like textures Steff mentioned really just added to me wanting this pallet as a pink girl I am always happy to see pink and we just got out of all the dark Halloween themes so for the price I will be purchasing. As always Steff looks solidify whether I will purchase the pallet keep doing what you do Steff and I love your natural lashes way better than anything else you put over them. Still would love to see you do a latte look so that I could find some things that would work for me as I am a fair skinned gal as well.

I only have the Desert Monsoon palette which I bought on Ebay here in the UK becauase the shipping to the Uk was a bit steep - but it's definitely a quality product and I will buy more from them if they come to Monolith (thanks for that tip btw!
I really like the cover of the palette, but I do not like the colorstory. I have bought 2 of the original brush set and 1 of the new one, and a few of the 102 eye brushes. The brushes are some of my favorites and I have many high end brushes. I did not like the BK beauty eyeshadow brushes.
Got a question for you: if one owns Danessa Myricks Lightworks 5 palette along with Huda Beauty Pretty Grunge palette (plus MANY rosy brown, plum, and rich brown single eyeshadows) , would those cover the same shades as Dragon Eye?

Oh man hard question!! I’d got with whichever brand you haven’t tried yet since they will both be running sales. This is more neutral that the KK palettes so if that’s what you wear more go for this one.

The palattes by Bellabeautebar, Ensley Reign, adept Cosmetics and Wicked beauty are off the chain. But sooo much money. I will definitely be splurging on 1 or 2 of these palattes.
