Cripes, I thought this was a real helicopter and the footage speeded up. Well done to the builder. The fact that the helicopter looked immaculate should have tipped me off.
This was as brilliantly filmed as it was remotely flown. Angles of shots, zoom levels, size comparisons all incredible it fooled me!

Boy some of these models are just incredible. The thing that really gets me is that even though choppers are obviously quite tricky to fly for real, people can fly models with a hand held controller!
theyre not too bad, you just really have to understand forces and the direction that you are trying to move in in order to position the chopper correctly, like if you wanna slow down, pitch up, collective down, and youll keep moving forward, but the air being pushed forward bc youre pitched up willl slow you down
Thank you Germany for helping keep our hobby alive around the world. RC helicopter hobby is rebounding here in the US with growing demand. RC helicopters are what got me into the hobby back in the mid 1980s. Born in the US AirForce I grew up surrounded by aviation that’s instilled the love of aviation as a driving force in my life since I was a tiny kid. I love this video and all others that show the advances our hobby and aviation in general has progressed. Keep flying and wow awesome achievement.

Ah man, from the start of the video I'm asking myself "Is this a real aircraft?" Then realized after a minute or two is an RC , wow what a beautiful aircraft it is and a little scary that very first takeoff 😬

brought back basic training chopper load and quick lift off and sudden drop and unload. That was a trip. 1977. Great flying. I wish I was the pilot in that chopper. Awesome.

Great looking and flying model. Kinda looked like a dynamic rollover on takeoff except one of the skids weren’t touching to cause an accelerated rotation. At least you had enough altitude to recover. Great job,

Really, i was watching maneuvers on a real helicopter , than a see a model landing .. i' m impressed with how real they made it look like
In the beginning, I thought that was a real helo until the weird maneuver. A real helo would have bit the dust. Props to the highly detailed work on the RC, had me fooled for 2 minutes.

This is what the ‘public’ dont get... it may be a model, but its still a real helicopter, with a real turbine engine, flown by a real human pilot... he may not be inside, but its still a real thing, very well built and nicely flown

Das Modell ist schon Hammer! Und da ist ja im Grunde auch eine normale Turbine drin, nur halt keiner. Aber Heißes Abgas produziert die natürlich auch

Bloody MARVELLOUS I gotta get me one of THEM! Even if it's just an Altaya model. Thing is if I had one of this genre I am not experienced and would rather boringly try not to fly it ... So when Altaya do get round to producing one maybe I'd be better off with it anyway!!! What a BEAUT.

It's a Bell UH 1 Iroquois, ( Huey ), not a Huey Bell. Bell is the name of the company that built the full size UH 1s. ( This is an RC model.) The official name is the Bell

It's not an Iroquois. It's an RC model. Anyway the Iroquois only had one engine exhaust and a two blade main and tail rotor... It 's a model of the Bell UH1Y as described...

I work on UH-1Y’s and I thought it was real for a minute... but certain things about this made me confused. Such as why are the pilots are wearing the “golf ball” HGU helmets and not the OTO’s, where are the crew chiefs? I even wondered why the ram air inlet is so high, or why the stinger is so short. But overall great camera work and nice flying.

Head quarters platoon had the uh-1 and cobra gun ships the crew spent most of their time patching holes with o. d. green duck-tape around the tail section trying to knock out the tail rotor macking it go out of control. LZ Radcliff, Pleiku vietnam.

Perhaps you don't understand the difference .This is an RC model. This means the power to weight ration
is far greater than the prototype, while the mass is far less, hence far less inertia, and so an RC model can do
things the prototype could not, both in stress factors and in not having the flight crew pull too many g's, 'cuz there
ain't one.

Wow knapp. Aber sehr schönes Modell und super geflogen. Aus meiner Sicht sollte so ein strömungsabriss am Heck nicht so einfach möglich sein. Das ist ein Indiz, das die Heckrotorblätter bzw. die Heckdrehzahl am Limit mit der Aerodynamischen Leistung sind. Viele Scalemodelle haben 1:5 Heckübersetztung. Ich verstehe die Hersteller nicht. 1:6 wäre viel passender. So ist man am Heck save.
