I quit watching the news 15 years ago. Never been happier! I also, for the first time in my life, stopped wishing to be in a relationship. It’s so easy to sleep at night knowing nobody is cheating on me.

Oh wow, that's really brave espessially with that "relationship narrative" in the media. Great job!

"Quit reading books I don't enjoy" is something I just learned a few years ago (and way too late). I used to make myself read every book I started just to have read it. Now I quit reading if I do not enjoy it or it even makes me mad reading something. Best decision ever.

Nice video Victoria! I really enjoyed it! 🤩🤩 it is so interesting to see all the things you have quit to simplify your life. In my case I quit listening so much to the opinions of others that sometimes can hold me back and I also quit the FOMO that social media sometimes generate, I am practicing being more grateful for what I already have and following more my own taste and intuition 🥰🥰

I quit too much Twitter. I only scroll through when I'm eating meals occasionally. I quit always buying more clothes. I have plenty so now I practice "one in one out" to keep the numbers down. I stopped buying books or going to the library. I download books from the library app and just read one book at a time. Don't have to waste time going to the library and storing a stack of books too.

I quit trying to please people, overthinking (by using meditation to clear y mind) and I quit religion by questioning what is right for me

I am a 56-year old wife and mom in the USA. I love your videos, and your sense of humor-you are adorable!
I can’t help but be jealous of many other countries now, because the US is getting horrible.

Thanks for sharing!! I agree, it's hard to not compare when you have access to so much information.

Some of the things on your list like ironing and extremely clean house comes from growing up in soviet union. The idea that a woman must exel at those things or noone will mary has been ingrained in our society and still exists to this day. It's been so liberating to move to US and do what I want to do and leave the rest.
