I think the biggest help would be for each driver to have a spotter. I was looking at the car to my right as I came around the corner because we were so close together. Midway though the turn I saw the caution light about the same time I heard race control in my ear telling me there was a caution. By then it was too late. I looked up right as Kyle's car came down in front of me. A spotter who is focused on each driver and the field and who has a way to communicate with the driver would be rad. I'll be bringing one with me the next time.

A safety recommendation for the freedom factory: get an LED strip along the top of the outer wall facing in, when there's a yellow or red flag you can turn the lights on so every driver can see them immediately, from anywhere on the track. They don't care about the cars because they have no money or time in it and just go crazy, trying to have a good time and don't think about the real dangers they put themselves and others in, if they don't take it seriously.

Why would he have to hold them at gunpoint to get them to sign. Of course they will gladly sign it. I'm just saying the ones racing, take the dangers too lightly, thus also too much risks.
Hailey Deegan also signed the waver. What I'm saying is, If she had broken an arm it would've sucked but that would've been her to deal with. If she would've lost her leg (her knees hit the dash hard), because the seats weren't fastened good enough or had she died or received severe burns in case of a fire (she couldn't have gotten out quick enough because the drivers side window nets don't open) I'm pretty sure her or her family would've gone to court despite the waver.
Wavers don't free you of all responsibilities. If they prove safety measures were lacking or not taken. You'd be pretty much screwed.
In F1 (and they've gone absurd with safety) a few years back driver died in an accident even though everything was done by the regulations. And still a major investigation was launched and court trials are still going, 5 years later.

You're working through things the right way and doing things the right way, and I can tell this is weighing on you heavily. The only real suggestions I would give you is first, get a professional driver to go through a checklist with each driver to make sure they're fit to race whatever they're racing so you are sure they arent out of their league. You don't start off in dirt track and go right to pro stock. The idea with all the different talent levels is great, but they have to all know what they're expected to do. I think this would help a lot in avoiding a lot of these issues. Also, having an experienced car builder go through the cars and double check all the safety devices so they can make suggestions (if you haven't already) would be another step you could take.
