I have a daughter that often travels on business, these will make a great way for her to visibly identify her luggage when she travels. Thanks for the tutorial.

I really enjoy watching your videos. You explain every step so clearly. I also love your "pretty side down or up" referring to fabric.

I can't stop making these. Everyone is getting them for stocking stuffers and I may also use them as the gift cards for presents. I love using up my odds and ends this way. I had a little trouble sewing on the vinyl so I just lined a piece of paper on the edge of it and after sewing just ripped it off, looks great.

Couldn't one also sand which the vinyl in between all the layers when you first stitch the rest? Just thinking it might make it easier if the machine doesn't like the vinyl. Love all that you do!

if you dont have any other feet a piece of tissue over the vinyl will help it move through smoothly & is easy to tear off without messing up your project

How does sewing on the vinyl not result in a perforated (dotted) line that would rip off easily?
I've never sewn vinyl partially FOR this exact reason.

I've worked with plastic for a variety of projects. I use a smaller stitch length & it worked fine. Also these tags will not get a lot of wear-&-tear on those stiches. I also keep a bit of thicker plastic on hand that I do buy at fabric or craft stores. It lasts long time for me. Hope that helps.
