Oh the struggles of having glasses, I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've had to readjust them during performances as well 😂 you sounded great though!!
When grade did you guys start band here in my school in Virginia we started in 6th grade I’ve seen some of your playing your like pretty cracked dude good job
6th grade aswell, Texas’s music education system is extremely good and sax, flute, and percussion are taken EXTREMELY hard, like at our region auditions, other instruments dont even play the etudes at tempo and saxes are blowing through it at like 1.5 the normal tempo.
@@jobless2852 Probably not at the same level, but clarinet also gets very competitive. Our region music is like that of Sax except usually twice as long and often exchange tempo for technical abilities.
@@ClarinetEnthusiast YES! I cant believe I forgot clarinet! Clarinet probably has the best players in the state, because every once in a while there is someone who can play yalls etudes at sax speed LOL
@@jobless2852 It’s brutal. I ended up 20th out of 44 in my region (I’m a sophomore.) but next year, next year for sure. I think I can get it next year. I also want to audition for our the Houston Youth Symphony. It’ll be competitive, but I wanna make it.
@@ClarinetEnthusiast at region….. I got beat by one flomo bari, and 5 Hebron baris…. They are so damn good, I could have snagged 5th, but I folded really hard in my audition, there was 18 of us baris. I was thinking about doing fort worth youth orchestra but i dont have enough time. What region are you in? Maybe if we both grind we can meet at area LOL
