- What an amazing experience fishing on opening day with the OntarioAnglers family.
Everyone caught 5+ fish this day, and all fish we released to grow and reproduce.
We took that big hen home that bled tons after choking on the spawn sac, she didn't make it unfortunately.

How do you fish these ditches? No challenge. To each their own I suppose
They were actually quite challenging, getting them to come out from the rocks to bite is the most fun We had in a while

nice steelies! i got into a few at the duffins, you should try cleardrift soft beads they work well.

Great catch.. Planning to go somewhere for the first time... looking for some good advice ☺️
Find the depth with your float, find the fish!
Go light with your set up 8-10lbs main line
Use light leaders: 4-6lbs
Depending on water clarity, go heavy for dirty water, lighter for clear water.
Throw everything, beads, spawn, worms, flies.
Find the colour, size that they’re looking for.

nice fish but i think maybe u should've kept the hen, not sure she would've made it with all that blood, give it to ur neighbour or something is what i do in those kinda situations
