      Yes it does! I keep whisking it until it's very thick then remove it from the heat to add the fruit!💞

    I just found your channel!! I LOVE your pot you used to prep the clear gel..what kind is it!!??

      Welcome!! It is a Jam Pot, narrow heavy bottom, wide at the top to allow steam to escape and thicken jam more quickly. Mine is on Amaon, it's brand is Kilner...I'm so glad you are here!💕 - Dana

    I feel that you have a lot of information to share but the background music was bothersome for me.

      @@sherriwilson9588 I agree totally. It wasn’t until after I realized it was too loud that I couldn’t fix it. I was just learning how to make the videos. I’ve gotten better at them lol. I’m glad though that you did find some useful information. Thank you for watching and your comment! 💕

    Where'd you get your big jar?

      I got mine here: amzn.to/3Up7jUc (As an Amazon Associate I may earn a small amount from purchases from my link that are at no additional charges to you) I love this jar and have gotten a couple more, they come in handy for lots of things. Seal is really nice!☺

    How long does that last if u don’t use it right away? Thank u very much.

    • @MimisLittleCityHomestead
      @MimisLittleCityHomestead  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it can last a year or more, it is like canning any jam jelly or fruit, water bath or steam canning 30 with a good seal will last as long as your other canned foods. Hope you give it a try!

      I don’t always get the same amount either. I think it may have to do with soaking and pre cooking beans, like the size or swelling of them. Also how much liquid I end up with. But I am glad you enjoyed the recipe! 💕

    My clear jel never thickened. It stayed runny and turned very clear

    • @MimisLittleCityHomestead
      @MimisLittleCityHomestead  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Debbie. Ive not had that happen before. Did you cook it to a bubbling boil before adding the blueberries? It should have thickened during that time. Also you might make sure you have Clear Jel for cooking and not the instant Clear Jel, and double check the measurements. I'm not quite sure why it wouldn't have worked for you. Let me know if you try the clear jel again.

      @@MimisLittleCityHomestead figured it out. I was using a teflon pan and not stainless steel. Once I switched pans it worked great

    Your voice volume drops down way too low at about 4 min 30 sec and the music is extremely loud and annoying and drowns out what you are saying,

    • @MimisLittleCityHomestead
      @MimisLittleCityHomestead  ปีที่แล้ว

      Roxanajordan9507 I know, you are right, it's a video I made and then published finding out that the volume of the music was so darn loud! So that's why I added the captions, until I can remake it and fix that. Unfortunately that video has the music and vid fused together by me and that's thanks to my being very new to this stuff, lol. But I am learning! And I'm glad you stopped by, I hope you were able to enjoy one of my other videos. and thank you Roxana 😊💕
