Hey, in regards to Smokey Nagata's V12 Supra. It actually wasn't a V12 in the top-speed run, the V12 was added in later when he wanted it to go faster.
In his infamous top-speed run where he got arrested, it was actually powered by a heavily modified RB26DETT from a Skyline.
The clip you showed was when it was still powered by the RB26DETT.

Im a bmw guy myself, I have an M140i (my favourite), e92 335i and an E39 M5. The bmw kids are nuts. Yes the B58 is insane and 550hp in a 1500kg rwd car is terrifying, but never going to kill a Bugatti lol

The RX7 deserves praise honestly, it's one of the very few rotary cars that has actually had a decent success. Engine aside it's a really good car, it has proven to be one of the most insane drift car platforms and if it wasn't overrated it would definitely be considered one of the most unique JDMs. Mazda has risked in experimenting with the rotary engine and it has done the best job with it yet
This guy went too far with it. Roasting the 13B is fair, but the car itself is a good platform.

I’m turning 15 in a week and I will say I did believe the Supra’s were the fastest when I was younger. But I will say that I don’t like BMW’s or really any super/hyper car. I like the old Nissans not for how fast they can go or for their popularity, but rather for how they look. For example my dream car is the 2007 Nissan fair lady 350Z. I love the way it’s designed and I’m not even gonna get it modded. Just a white paint, black rims, and a simple spoiler is all I need.
Nah, you bugging. Nagata chose that engine cause it was Japanese. He wanted to show the world that japan has good and very fast cars. Japan was looked down back then cause of 280 hp rule. That is why he was doing 300+ km/h challenges all over the world. He is a legend.

smokey had 2 supras. the v12 one is the one with weird headlights,which was his design for the mk5.the one that you showed is the one he put an rb26 in and its the same one he hit 197 mph. the v12 is just for show

You’re mixing up the two Supras, the v12 had the Toyota century engine and his top secret supra had the rb26

The LFA cost at launch was insane when compared to the Viper, ZR1, Gallardo, R8, or even the R35. They were far better price wise and have the same if not better performance than the LFA which is why it failed
The supra in the Smokey video you showed is the one with the rb26 swap, the v12 one has the crazy wide body kit
The reason the FD3S rx7 is more popular than the FC3S and SA22C is because of Tokyo drift, mad mike, and other culprits. The main way it isn’t in as many edits is because of its issues and cut potential compared to the 2jz and 1uz.
The V12 was from a century It was made to be as smooth as a Rolls.
And yes i would love to spend 1mil at an LFA

And lastly, because it is 3am, the Kerosene trend didn’t just stick with the RS6 avant. It’s all Audi owners. R8, s5, a3, rs4, a8L, s6, rs5 sportback, EVERYTHING.
And now the corvette c8 is getting hyped. I liked it but now everyone who likes it makes me cringe. I like c6s more has been my dream car for forever.
About Supra the sound might get ruined by exhaust system so we don't really know which V12 is under the hood
Also if i had 1 million dollars i would get a dodge challenger with wide body and tune it to look like a Demon with 1,200 horsepower

My personal opinions on the r35:
Its only overhyped because its a successor to the R34.
thats the only reason that like 95% of people like it.

it gets hate because of the sterotypes, people who dont own them just wont stop calling them boats.
and it does have some bad reputation, as alot are used for escaping police and illegal activities.
they also get some hate from stereotypes because they get reponed a lot.
Yes they do get over hated, but like you said, you can see where the haters are coming from.
It's just more of a personal preference with hellcats.
I’m happy the rx7 wasn’t ruined. The msrp is reasonable in today’s money for a completely stock one, and the prices of FB marketplace for clapped out ones or heavily modded ones are ok too. But all the best cars don’t get the love they deserve. (Cough cough, EUNOS COSMO)
My dad is a owner of a RS6 C7 and ye is kinda sad that people says ,
