In my opinion, if you look closely he could have fired the 4th shot at the end of Naut ult, but he waited and just unlucky timing then Naut hook.

there was an 11k gold swing in 7 minutes in that last game. honestly, thats impressive levels of throwing. i wanna feel bad for noah but dude needs a therapist after this series, he's cooked after choking THAT hard in game 3. the first throw was kinda just lazy recalling, but e'ing forward with ez when they have a team that can collapse on him so easily was just...really poor thinking on his part. it sucks, cuz him and jun honestly, have a good early laning phase. they just have ZERO macro as a team.

@@nikkonreinold9821 when things go THIS poorly, its usually both. OR, its upper management pressuring the team and threatening to replace people.
but in this case, its more than likely that g2 just lives SO rent free in the LEC team's heads, and theyre so used to g2 coming from behind to win, that even when they have what should be virtually unthrowable states, theyre too scared to do anything proactive for fear of throwing, and then they throw by not playing the map at all.

They watch, and they hear the casters also point out that Zyra was pulled out of the way - they just hate on Hans for some reason, so actively decide to only include their negative comments in the moment and can't be fussed about correcting themselves in the edit
This might have been the most disappointing LEC finals ever. It is shocking how poorly G2 have adapted to this meta, they look like they haven't figured out how they want to play the game, and the way they are playing out levels 1-3 in lane is poor. Over the whole play offs they have lost almost every early game hard. It is an absolute indictment of the whole region that a team can give away 5 - 10k gold in the first 14 minutes and still consistently win games. As for FNC, they are utterly unable to figure out how to pressure the map when ahead, their objective set up is atrocious and needless to say the level of chocking on show here from the bot lane is impressive.
G2's whole sauce is how Big their Champion pools/flex picks are but this double Marksman Meta is so bad for G2 there's no point for caps to pick Mages and stuck with his Tristana/Corki and there's no point for the enemy to ban caps known Mages pick. forcing bans to Hans champ picks. and if hans still can't play Zeri this is going to be their worst meta

This meta is garbage, boring to watch where all lanes are played by ADCS, this shit has to change.
In G2's defense, they're just not taking LEC seriously imo, they're just making fun of them while trying to figure out the meta and adapt their own playstyle. Lane swaps, offmeta champs, experimenting with Yike to take him off perma Sejuani duty, extending Hans champ pool, Caps is adopting more "Chovying" style etc. I don't think they really care about more LEC titles (other than the paycheck). By the time anyone gets even close to their achievements (if ever), League will probably be a dead game already. The only thing they care is MSI/Worlds. Meanwhile they just "practice" as much as they can against such pathetic region with teams that are simply no competitive whatsoever.
G2 has a poor meta read and is just drafting scaling right now because they know these inters will give them the game after 20 mins.

I think Yamato needs FNC more than FNC Yamato tbh. Reminder that with Yamato 2nd year FNC was one monster zeri performance and a gragas barrel away from not even making worlds. I love Yamato, but in the last year FNC had way too many issues from not even proper practice within the team, which was his responsibility.

Yes, FNC threw their leads.
However, all three games were highly competetive and no one gave an inch (until FNC players started to int).
I rather have this than 5 boring games where one team just gets a lead and runs away with it.
Furthermore, these games also highlight G2s issues and things they have to improve.
Personally, I think FNC have greatly improved. If a better team plays a worse team, all the attempts from the worse team just feel kinda hopeless and the better team can always crossmap and turn every winning play into a loss.
FNC were playing the same game as G2 and G2 plays the same game as korean or chinese teams. Of course top asian teams are used to this level. They are more precise and able to punish smaller mistakes. G2 isnt able to do that. They are on the same level as the last whole year. Almost there, but not quite. FNC, BDS and SK on the other hand cought up quite a bit in my opinion. They are all starting to play the asian LoL.
Many people talk shit about LEC, but have you guys ever watched lower placed asian teams play? Even they dont really play the asian lol. When BLG plays TT for example its a tragedy. The game looks lost since min 1. There is no cross mapping, no creative macro plays, no winning 1v1s. They havent blown up their old league format for no reason. The better european teams at least are about as good as mid tier asian teams where one can hope for an upset.
