Mam why thermogravimetric analysis can be used for the qualitative as well as quantitative analysis

Because TGA is a thermal analysis that identifies the sample mass against time or temperature on a controlled environmental furnace. And in tga the mass of the sample is measured on the microbalance, while it is heated or cooled in the furnace, according to this easier protocol, TGA is a low-cost method, needs a small sample, so used in quantitative or qualitative analysis. Again it's depends on ur experimental criteria why we choose this method over the other laboratory method.
