That humidity control is amazing. The way they treat their employees is impressive.
If they take care of the employees..... the employees will take care of Newell.

Great video Andrew. We just had our 2001 Newell at the factory for repairs in Sept for the first time and were so impressed with everyone. Even though we did not purchase it from them we were treated the same as someone who had just bought a new coach. Can not say enough good things about them. Also took the manufacturing tour and was blown away at the process, even met tradesmen that helped build our very unique one of a kind Newell 19 yrs ago. One other thing, we have had a persistent problem since we purchased our coach in 2017 and when Newell saw what it was, they determined it was a factory defect and made the repair at no cost to us. It was about a ten hour job and they covered it all after 19 years, amazing. Thank you Newell

Wow, great tour....thank you for sharing with us. One day I would love to see the forgotten craftsmen, these are the ones that do the plumbing, the electrical workers, these guys are often overlooked because you don’t see there work, but I am sure they too wire and plumb the same way the carpenters display their workmanship. Thanks again.

Andrew, let me say you do a great job! Living in Oregon I am partial to Marathon. Then again, a Prevost Country Coach would be great too. Then, I see all the great features of Newell. It seems like Newell has a “sit at the RV resort” all winter reputation. The more I see of it, the more it looks like a “driver” coach.
I’m not sure when my wife and I can “take the next step”, but your videos are helping us make an informed decision.
The more I see these, the more production coaches look cheap, or of low quality. I guess you either pay upfront or a little (or a lot) over the years.

Well done video. I own my second Newell, a 2012. I have had 100% support when I needed it from the 24/7 techs. Quality is amazing in every part of the coach, from the smallest part to the big items. Tremendous engineering that is almost impossible to find anywhere these days. Enjoyed very much the behind the scenes tour!

I've seen videos of the outside and inside workings of these coaches but never from scratch or the ground up. Now I see why the price is set for what they are worth. I see that a owner of one these coaches will not just be paying for a name. The company Newell owns and stand behind it's work. I'm very impressed👍🏿.

Awesome to watch the quality of it all, the Rolls Royce of coach building. And as a bonus the Engineering VP has a great future as a flight attendant should he ever need another job. His technique for pointing out the over wing exits and the rear door exits is unmatched.

Thinking that Newell used Prevost chassis' I am corrected and impressed. Great to see the build process and as a Canadian it is not at all surprising that you would use an outfit in Salmon Arm, British Columbia to supply important parts. I've lived and worked in B.C. (currently living in Nova Scotia) and I can tell you that the craftsmen and women are incredibly skilled and dedicated. This was great to watch ... Cheers
Two suggestions... Don't like exterior bathroom door handle. You'll hit it and catch things on it. Second note somewhere on the dash the exact height of the rig to avoid losing the air conditioners. Luv the vids. Love the quality. Wish I had one.

What sets your Channel apart from 1 or 2 of the other Channel's you have suggested, is that you take the time to answer your Viewer's Question's, which is not the case with them!! Which makes your Channel a go to!! Keep the great video's coming Andrew!!
Andrew, exceptional video! Would have liked to see the custom design process. One area where Newell differs from a stock production coach is the customization options for a customer. I would have loved to hear about inserting different appliances, fire and safety systems, and water purification components. Also renewable energy options such as Lithium and solar. Understanding how finishes are selected in their design center. It's tough picking some details from a swatch. Finally, I was wondering about the paint schemes. I know you love the "Dean" swooshes, but some of us would like to know about how to develop a custom paint design.

I do believe the Newell blows anything else out of the water even Liberty Coach or Featherlite because they are just another high-end Prevost converters but no ground up architects and builders. In the automotive world the equivalent is a Koenigsegg or Pagani hence no wonder these masterpieces command figures in the same ballpark. Thank you Andrew for the insight and keep it up!

Could you ask them if the basement floor is plywood or steel. Seems like a lot of them with wood end up having to be replaced down the road from moisture.
One of the salespeople explain this point very well, coming in a future video.
The older Newells used 10 gauge steel with plywood lining on top of it and sprayed on foam on the bottom. I will be interested to see if they still do them that way.
Nice in depth look. James missed mark on putting down others bolting together yet is how they attach their wall trusses. And their slides are outsourced. Still like their work. Explains the expense
Great Tour Andrew!! Love the Monocoque frame, Aluminum Skin, Spray foam insulation. Is there any other coach insulated with spray foam? Not that I know of.
