So glad to see you back, Karina! Congratulations on your wedding, you both looked super happy! And Aruba... What a dreamy place to stay for a couple months! Personally I do relate to everything you have said. To be honest, what I loved about your content (other than the natural beauty niche) is how you just wanted to give us looks and techniques, without creating this anxious feeling of having to purchase the newest release. I have been following beauty channels since the very first videos of Michelle Phan, and the current trend of buying everything for review makes me uncomfortable. Also, the pandemic kind of kick-started almost a makeup addiction for me, I have been careful with my finances though, but I have struggled with a great deal of anxiety because I wanted to get the newest palette from X or test out the formula that everyone is raving from Y. I'm a 100% excited to watch your next video and what direction you channel will follow.

I totally get it, and the beauty community has just moved over to tik tok where products go viral over and over and you feel like you need to buy everything. At the end of the day, there aren’t thaaaaaat many products that are so ingenious you NEED to have them. I should do a video about that maybe. Love hearing from you!

One of the reasons I was drawn to your channel and continued to watch was your approach of simple makeup and what colors, etc to use for different outfits or events. I also enjoy your calming and honest personality. And I totally agree with what you say about people having too much. I find that I’m drawn to you tubers that don’t try to sell or at that give advice on how to apply, etc. I also find I’m more drawn to vlogs or get ready with me videos. And I also buy a lot of makeup. It is a bit of an addiction and gives me anxiety so I’m trying to focus on other topics! I’m looking forward to your next video to see what your plans are going forward.

Yes! Totally agree with you! Too much makeup gives me anxiety and I love makeup. I was thinking the same thing when I noticed other channels having rooms and drawers of makeup. Too much! I love your simplicity and look forward to your new updates.

And you're right, the beauty industry is ridiculously saturated with everyone doing the same trends, it's either full on glam face or a very similar "minimalist aesthetic" look. I absolutely love your channel and tutorials. Totally understand why you don’t want so much ‘stuff’. What I would love to see is some really simple things like how to match a red lipstick with the right blush, it’s classic, classy and so useful. Or one bluish that suits 5 different lips. Also loved the eyeshadow as bronzer you did. I think you definitely have an audience for your content, you just need to find your connection again, I understand.

I can relate to your situation, the older I become the less makeup I want to wear as well, I have toss and gave away so much makeup that I never even used or touch, I curated my entire makeup to things I actually use everyday, and downsized to only one drawer of makeup, couldn’t be any happier.

I don't really enjoy the videos that encourage overconsumption, bad money habits, always chasing the newest latest product etc. I really respect your thoughts and point of view on how you'd like to shape your channel, and I love your makeup asthetic and philosophy. I have to say, the video you did a while back on matching your makeup to your outfit was really cool. I'd pick a video about how to think through makeup use/purchasing in an insightful way over a flashy new review or tutorial any day! I'll be sticking around to see what's next for you :)

I was thinking recently about how you haven’t posted in a while so I’m happy to see you back! I definitely relate to feeling overwhelmed with having too much makeup and I’m not interesting in extravagant looks and product reviews the same way I used to be. I’m 32 and have been working from home the last 2 years and have definitely been more minimal with my makeup and feel like I’m in a rut with makeup and don’t enjoy it as much. I’ve enjoyed your philosophy about makeup and your content but am excited to see what’s next for your channel. You said you will be moving away from making videos about makeup but if you did want to share your simple classic looks (even if it’s with the same products) as chatty get ready videos that would be great! Or even talking about the products you brought to Bermuda or what you kept in your collection that would be fun to watch. But no pressure! :)

I'm not surprised by this, actually. I wondered when you first started just how many natural, classy makeup looks there are! I have mostly stopped wearing eye makeup because I find it irritating, but I do still need to wear natural, classy makeup sometimes, so I refer to your older videos. I wish you'd filmed the declutter/cleanout/clean, though!

Your recent video about your flight to Boise and you're makeup popped up in my feed then I looked up at your other videos other videos and Even though I love make up so much I realize how many neutral pellets do I need?? So I'm not entity's beauty gurus and especially all this PR packaging. I can't stand watching people declare tons and tons of make up it gives me actual anxiety true anxiety.
