May I just say I have never heard of a catholic in the uk 🇬🇧 to fast , we need to keep it biblical, muslim ‘ s are just doing it for works based faith! Let’s keep our fasts as Bible taught and kept them in knowledge and understanding. May God help us In Jesus Name 🙏🏽
But then fasting is also a spiritual principle. He is just trying to show how powerful fasting as a spiritual principle is and the church does not fast as if in understanding of this spiritual principle. He is encouraging the church that we need to fast. Imagine what power the church would have if we were dedicated in prayer and fasting like the Muslims were. One day l was like oh how l wish l would have that dedication to God that the Muslims had in their religion. That really inspired me and now l pray a lot to the living God.
I did this type of fast two years ago I pray God to give me tripple grace to do it over and over again. I felt good, light and so close to God, I would see angels and hear clearly divine instructions.
