Roberu begins the descent into LoL and is actually not bad for his first time. Let's all wish him well. Also, Mea is an incredible teacher. RoberuNightMea synergy is off the charts.

Roberu did really well for his first time and Mea is an incredible teacher. If anyone wanted to learn about league, they could probably watch this and have a decent understanding of fundamentals.
Mea streams League on twitch. I have a link to her twitch in the description if you wanna follow her so you can catch when she streams.
3:42 He also tried Brand and Master Yi, but I had to cut for time.
22:27 Earlier in the stream, he compared Japan's nickname for LoL with Yu-Gi-Oh. Shadow Game was the official translation used for 闇のゲーム. Since he made that connection, I went with it.
23:16 "Kicked you while you were down" 死体蹴り(shitaigeri) Literally means, "kicking a corpse". It seems to have originated from the Japanese fighting game scene(you can keep hitting the opponents body sometimes after you win) and has since expanded into the general lexicon and has undergone a semantic shift to also mean "kick while down" or "overkill" and is considered bad manner in both the gaming and sports scenes.
Other things I had to cut for time were Roberu trying to convince Mea to play Idolmaster Shiny Colors, Mea giving Roberu a tour of her top lane home, and a lot of other great teaching moments from Mea.
mea being a league player explains so much
"This is kinda fun"
That's where the hell starts
**nods in agreement while arms are crossed**
Until some trolls come and blame your team
**Vietnam flashbacks**
game's fun but theres just toxicity. Its why I stuck to playing ARAMs so I can still enjoy it then just watch pro leagues.
The foundation of my personality is based on this game - Kagura Mea, 2023.
Considering the game's reputation I don't know if that's a good thing
I think Mea half intended it as a joke since JP-nikis were calling League "yami no game" in Roberu's chat during the stream
Just the base, not the entire game.
That's why mea is unhinged
Explains a lot actually
I think that was her point XD
Wow Mea's unexpectedly so good at teaching League.
EDIT: Mea sounds like your girlfriend who's so happy you have a potential at being good at a game she loves
He got the rizz
Shes more like my sister. Everything I do when playing her games I receive a compliment.
I get it tho, it's fun when people you like get involved with your hobbies
Meanwhile me trying to teach my sister to play Mario games as someone who grew up with the games. "Oh my god for the love of god just basically hold the goddamned run button all the time " (foams at mouth)
back in the day when mea and aqua played league together. Ahhh those days.
@@pasta8026 Damn, you made me think about myself for a while. My older sister doesn't want to play my games at all and I've always wanted her to play sonething that I play, but she is sometimes very rude to me, and many other times she is saying that if a game has just a little bit of anime-like graphics, she says that I am sick by playing it, i think it's just a stereotype tho.
Idk why I'm even writing this here, sorry for letting it out.
time to fully digest this 26 minute clip
Wait till you play Dota 2
It was fun hearing Mea really happy in successfully dragging Roberu, especially so when he asked her to join her again. The "I WILL" react from her was also especially super adorable.
I lost it when he introduced himself to the character ww
Edit: I can't help but repeating part at 25:32
Winning son “How comes this game is called a shadow game?”
Mea *proceed to kill and BM him for an example*
I love these two.
Thank you for the long translation! Really feeding my overseas roberu night mea fan heart
Son, that's hell you're walking into...
Damn, starting league of legends in 2023. I wouldn't actually expect him to get hook on the game, as an old player that sometimes plays casually with their friends from time to time, freaking people in silver rank in this game have the knowledge of some platinum player back when I played, literally a very tough newcomer experience
It may be partially due to how enthusiastically and nicely Mea was teaching. We'll see how he fares once he starts playing real matches. For a complete moba beginner he had some moves lol.
Normally it shouldn’t be a problem, newbie will queue up with newbie. But not sure if JP server has enough player base to do that. As a viewer i would love to see more videos of Roberu & Mea playing League in the future.
@@monok1781 There were quite a few Chinese players to help with that issue when I last played on the server(years ago). I dunno how it is now though. She'll probably have to make a smurf account too if they wanna play together.
Same, I'd love to see more.
I started league in 2021 and it was definitely rough getting through the first 100 levels or so
that will only make him stronger
Robu: Why is this a shadow game....
Mea: *proceeds to send him to the shadow realm.*
At least he got the answer to his question. 🤣
this is better tutorial than the actual LoL tutorial.
What a Chad. That first "yarimasu!!" at the very end of the clip has got Mea SOOOOO happy.
RoberNightMea fans eating good!!! Thank you for the translation!!
the dynamic between these two is sooooooo good! but i also want to see more of roberu destroying hoshikawa in yugioh while she gets a stomach ache from laughing too much
Roberu might actually be the best first timer I’ve ever seen.
Having played the game for many years, I never once heard anyone say “I’m having fun.”
Big same.
I have, but it’s usually in a sarcastic tone after being 3 man ganked mid or something XD
I play a lot of league and she was extremely patient with roberu not to overload him with info and make sure hes comfortable.
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for such a long video, all translated. That must have been a lot of hard work and I really appreciate being able to get the experience.
I appreciate it. You nailed what I wanted people to get out of this. You can't really "experience" what the two of them can offer with just short clips, so I'm really happy to be able to share that.
It's crazy how much better the new player experience is for league now. Between that and mea, roberu has a shot at really learning.
wow a long roberunightmea clip thank youuuu :D
Never have I expected to see someone having fun at League of Legends after all this years...
Hope Roberu really gets into it so that we'll have more variety of Roberu nightMEA and Astel will have more bros to play LoL with haha
That's the hell you are walking into
League is one of those games where you can get to a moment of "I feel like I haven't improved absolutely nothing" until you watch someone else start learning.
this is the girlish i ever seen of mea , hahahaha adorable
This was so much fun to watch!!! She really did much better teaching than most people would, and without missing a beat, showing him the darkness of League as well... Laughed super hard at that
I need more roberunightmea....
"The foundation of my personality is based on this game"
I don't think you should be proud of that...
she's good at explaining
Most wholesome league of legends content I've seen.
Maaan seeing Mea having so much fun made me happy
Ngl this clip is a great beginner tutorial than in the game
I’m not even 10 minutes in, but I’m just gonna say, I’m happy people still play and enjoy league, especially newcomers, but I just can’t hand any more of my years over xD (end of season 1/start of season 2 was when I started playing, absolutely destroyed the game for 6-7 years day in day out, then season 9-12 I only played for maybe a month or two a year near the end of ranked season, and now I can’t remember when I last played). I still remember just how much emotion this game dragged out of me and my friends as we hopped in, fucked around, tryharded, and generally spent waaaay too much time on the game xD
Certainly some of the times of my life ahaha
I am truly grateful for this great translation this duo is just so fun to watch
The birth of LoLeru.
This is exactly how i felt when i first started playing league, full of joy and fun
I really hope that i can go back to that era since now there's just pain and suffering left for me in league
In my final days of league, the only time I could enjoy it was silly Arams with friends or tft. Loading into the rift just felt bad at the end...
Thank you for the translation! He did so well for a first timer. He even dodged skillshots that most first timers (and even some silver and below players) would just stand there and take.
I got so nostalgic for when I taught my old roommate to play League. He got addicted hardcore and started playing without me with his other friends (they were newer too) so he ventured down the rabbit hole with his own kind
Mah gawd you monster how can you do this to a person. Is he still down there? The horrors of the league rabbit hole is real
It's always a good thing if Mea finds somebody to play LoL with besides Aqua.
NOOOOOOO THE SLOW DESCENT INTO MADNESS. Roberu run while you still can!!!!
6:16 I laughed..
EDIT: LOL that ending... haha... that chuckle.... is that even one...
Roberu plus Mea, it just seems like the right thing to watch if you want to be entertained
26 minutes? I love you.
I do not like league of legends one bit, but I loved watching this. Very conflicting feelings.
Same like Roberu's feeling.😂
26 minutes of Roberu Night Mea? Don't mind if I do, good sir.
You are an excellent clipper my friend. Subbed.
Great job doing such a long clip/translation!
That's hell you're walking too
Ruberu si 100% the best league beginner i have ever seen. He almost plays like a decent bronze/low silver. Im actually amazed
Broo thanks for the long clip!
so Mea plays league......that explains a lot
I just have this scenario in my head of this 18:46 part when Mea said "but if it's roberu, i wouldn't mind teaching you at all."
Thank you so much for this
the way she started that with griffyndoor
Thank you for putting everything together, was an enjoyable time watching the winning son learn the game with mea
This was such a wholesome LOL stream! Can't believe i can say that without being sarcastic XD.
and hell truly begins
Thank you!!!! for the long clip
Wow, first time I see Mea to be this happy.
Im glad that more jp people are playing league of legends
Thankyou for the long translate!! this was such an enjoyable vid ngl. I hope they'll do more LoL collab soon!
9:33 he feeling fun playing it\
oh poor soul
What a good timing to teach him why LoL is called a toxic game, and what a way, perfect way... personal experience XD
Thank you for the hard work for the translation and the video. 😁
banger clip
Mea really is good at understanding what to teach and at what pace.
Roru Roberu Reveru San. Mea Sensei seems so happy, i really likes how she teach him. great clip
theyre so cute
The "Roru" in roberu stands for LoL but in japanese
also, roberu casually rizz her with the "it might be because you're good at teaching" but mea counter it with "ah, there is the tsundere" later on
aside from that, this video is an interesting angle to learn about LoL
i guess i did learn something new every now and then from internet
Why is this such a good LoL tutorial?
I loved this video and i would love more if they just stream LoL again. Thanks for your work
Que grande Roberu, hasta saco su cosplay de tía elegante toma té, 10 de 10.
Mea's unexpectedly good at teaching how to play league. From this video alone, I learned a lot like you get exp from minions and towers if you attack them, how important it is know how to aim your skills and skill combos, and map awareness. Also Roberu learns really fast and did really well for a first timer. He really is a winning son.
Oh no the addiction has started.
"My name bears the power of LoL!"
Sounds salty~ xD
You cna use 9:29 to 9:40 to summarise Roberu Nightmea in a nutshell
Thanks for the clip! I hope they play more.
that's the 7th time i'm watching this video
i even downloaded lol (bad idea i know) just because it felt like the type of game that i like playing (i've never played a MOBA other than mobile legends and i uninstalled it 2 weeks after)
i've played just the tutorial and training because i'm afraid of the online mode but damn this two had so much fun playing and chatting that i felt like i need to play too
that fact alone is already insane but i keep coming back to this video over and over and it gets better every single time???? how???
and i'm brazilian so if my english sucks that's because it was forged mostly by games and songs
Hey, dude! That's awesome! I'm glad you liked it so much! I agree these two really looked like they had so much fun that is *almost* made me start playing again. If you just stick to normals or even just ARAM, where people are a lot more chill, then it can be pretty fun!
If you can find some friends who also play and are patient, or have some friends join you in learning that could also be fun!
And you're English is great, no worries. No eigo jyouzu from me.
No Mea, noooo!! Winning son won't be winning anymore! xD
Actually Mea is so good at teaching Roberu, awww てぇてぇ
love me some Roberu'nightMea
also, Mea is so much better ingame tutorial, than the tutorial itself
seriously that was awesome
i cant help but witness the tragedy of seing roberu become a legue player.
Que fachero que es Roberu POR DIOOOOS!!!!!!!!
I started playing this game in the open beta and still amazing me, when I see a beginner trying for the first time.
Tskr!!!!!!!!!!!
Mea introduced Roberu to league? Oh god what have you brought down upon this cursed lands? 😂
+1 for the BM heal
this dude plays better that the level 40 guy Garen main from my neighborhood
Not saying he's lying, but he's so decent I actually can't believe it's his first time playing, lol
i'm a league player but i think roberu has experience on other moba specially when he ask "will you lose money when you die"
I have mixed feelings about LoL, been playing since back in 2013 and I still both love and hate the game... However watching a newbie play and enjoy it for the first time gives me a warm fuzzy feeling xD
It almost got me back in. Almost.
2:41 this far in and already used the Faker classic, I'm in for a good clip! (That I should've watched 2 weeks ago lmao)
When he dodged that Sion ult that was all I could hear in my head. Years of playing and watching league finally came in handy lol
Reberu san and Roberu-san are easy to mix up lol
The game itself is pretty fun to play.....what makes it a shadow game is the people playing it lol
Dang what a nostalgic feeling. I remember the first time i play League on NA server. The ping is so bad back then, and i can only use lux while still suck on it. And everytime people say "i want to play this champion" and/or someone took my lux because they said "I'm literally higher than you" or "you probably suck on it so I'll use that champion", i literally don't know what should i do.
Btw, nice thumbnail you got there.
God, yeah. Those days where it was only All Pick and the fighting started in champ select. The thumbnail turned out better than I thought it would, thanks haha
i dont know if roberu played games like this before or he is just really a gamer, me moves and plays too good for a first timer
MoBA games are really nice if someone shows your the ropes bit by bit.
