So guys, are you wondering now, should you play escape from tarkov in 2024 ? The real answer is yes, Tarkov is a very great game and it's worth all the money. If you never played Escape from Tarkov before, this is one of the best fps games that ever existed, a truely hardcore game. But keep in mind, Escape from tarkov is not new players friendly at all, so you will have a pretty though learning to play this game. The learning curve is pretty big, it's not like other games. but once you got the feeling of it you will become unbeatable. Also the game is great for the returning players since the new recoil system is what the game always needed and also the snow update is kinda cute. Since is only the beginning of the wipe, this is a great opportunity to come back to the game and start playing tarkov. Is Tarkov worth it ? Yes

short answer - no. I have the game from 2020 and the cheaters are sadly destroying this game. And the devs do nothing about it...

@@TheGooseGobbler Play labs, you will see. You wont even see some cheaters, they avoid players. They dont kill people = they dont get reported = they dont get banned.
Ive been playing arena, shits actually fun now. With the state of literally every other arena shooter being dumpster fire levels arena has become my go to fps game
@@TheGooseGobbleryou most likely have, they just make it really hard to tell, this guy on yt used cheats himself to detect other cheaters in a video and found theres at least one cheater about every other game.

Love the content and I hope you continue my Brat, I have to say that this is the first wipe I haven't given up on the game. I can actually get tasks done with the new recoil system and actually win gunfights. Rats are still an issue and thankfully you take care of those players for us ;) but for the most part I'm actually enjoying the wipe! and since I paid to win with EOD, I have Arena to give me more anxiety :)! I've always appreciated the concept of this game, but being a mostly solo player and having QoL things left out due to "Ultra realism" put me off of it. I have no idea as a new player if what I'm grabbing is worth anything or is needed for a later quest (no item values shown on hover), out of raid inventory Jenga annoys the shit out of me, getting matched against groups when you try to play solo, cheaters and campers etc
And I understand why they do it, but wiping out all the progress makes me just not want to play. Whats the point in grinding to the best gear and such if its just going to be arbitrarily lost on a wipe?
This is why I investigated and got into stuff like STALKER Anomaly. Sure its not as pretty, but its most of what I wanted from a game like Tarkov without the issues PVP brings and I get to decide when my gear gets wiped (start a new save), and no arbitrary inventory Jenga, stashes hold as much as you want to put in them, and you can have multiple.
Game is not meant to be fair
Give the single player mod a go, less steep learning curve
Just get singleplayer tarkov

The thing that sucks is I wanted EOD but now it’s gone and I would get the prepare edition but most people say that none of the middle tiers were worth it so basically stuck buying the standard account with no gamma container and no large storage unless I upgrade to prepare which is just a lesser version of EOD 🙃

1 Death to not paying attention, 1 Death to no audio, 1 Death to getting steamrolled by a Chad, 1 death to that "extra" PMC teammate after killing the first one or two, 1 Death to a Terminator Scav and then maybe you get 2-3 okay raids where you survive and get some good loot. This 40-50% survival rate and doing everything you can to maximise your chances when they are stacked against you. Definition of a hate/love relationship.

I bought it and all, went to SPT pretty quick. It’s way too much of a chore to learn the game and everything that goes with it. So it’s a nice relaxing way to play and still enjoy the mechanics without the BS

As much as I want to like the game, I can't; I get too emotionally invested into games to play EFT. The fact that there are so many hackers (not just blatant hackers, but those closeted ESP users) just spoils the whole experience. Spending 10 minutes to put together a kit, then 10 minutes in a que, only to play a game where there is a 60% chance that you are playing at a disadvantage.
I feel like I would need to be a dummy (with my current skill in the game, it may be different for you) to play this game. Too much of the games integrity has been put into question; I can't play a game that requires thousands of hours of commitment to "get good" while everything is questionable.
I love to watch your videos though, and will continue to do so, but I've been done with Tarkov for a while now haha

you shouldnt play because 5 out of 6 raids some player with suspect name will kill you 1 shot in the face in first 2 min of the raid at night. Not using any nightvision but exactly knowing your position at all times. If you dont get cheated then you glitch thru the ground while vaultign over a fence. This game has been ruined for me since it got popular 2019 and all the cheaters and try hard pvper came.

Absolutely its not. Especially shoreline night raids. The only thing that would save this game for me is a single player mode. So i dont have to suspect everydeath to be a cheater. I die 90% to headshots, i barle ever get into a gunfight that lasts longer then a 1 tap. its just ridiculously bad.@@camau_
