When this show began in 1985 a lot of people were shocked by the Sophia’s mouth. No one had ever heard an old lady with a borderline dirty mouth, who was really cocky and would say anything to anyone, despite the fact that she was only 4 foot 11 inches tall and skinny. I wasn’t shocked by Sophia, I was just shocked that NBC was allowing her to say the things she did. Back in the 80’s it was a very big deal to hear the words “slut” and “bitch” on a prime time show. I grew up in Manhattan, and I knew lots of elderly women like Sophia, many of them would swear like truck drivers.

They should have shown the one where they were looking at home movies that Rose had made and when Dorothy came on the screen, Sophia said "Hey, I didn't know Fess Parker was in this movie!"
I loved betty more as sue ann givens and then elka. everytime i heard a st olaf story coming i went outside for a smoke. Sophia was best at throwing shade better than anyone i know.
The only thing i can critique about this is the Constant Talking In the background Made it hard to actually hear the video ...But other than that this was pure Gold👌👌👌
