I've the same Aldi tyre inflator 😄 It is super handy, but......If you use it for a large tyre the air gets hot, and so does the air line. Then it bursts 😕 Mine is on it's second air line. I was blowing up a van tyre (using the cigarette lighter plug adapter) so, advice is use it in short bursts then let it cool. ( The pump has a built in fan, it's fine. It's the hose/airline that doesn't like getting hot).
Hi Karen, great work with your animals evven though the snow looks nice but hard to work, my own place got completely flooded when it all melted and the rain down on top of it 80 acres under water , thank god all are in , looking forward to seeing your loader.
Hello Karon ,It all normal cow stuf ,but i've seen many times that if a cow is sick or is not 100 %its natures way of keeping the herd strong 'and as for OKO I've been using it for years its excellent I've used it on my Motorcycle
Tip for the OKO, use it before you get a puncture, always easier. If you jack the wheel off the floor and get the valve to 12 then when OKO is in, take the vehicle for a spin to run the OKO around the tyre ;-)
Never take the bullied cow out of pen - always the bully . Take out for week or two , put back in then shes the newbie and has lost her position at the top. Also have heard of pouring vinegar down the back and on the head of the bullied cow ( careful not to get in her eyes )
Hi Karen, About the bullying problem, the diagonal feed barriers are good job. But before I would go to that expense, I would be inclined to keep plenty of silage in front of them. I know that when they are cows and they are incalf that, you might not want to be feeding them up too much in case they put on too much condition before they calf, but I would definitely increase the amount of silage that you put in front of them. I think that would be a help towards the bullying.
Cheap automatic transmission fluid does a better job than expensive sealants and does not corrode the wheel rims. We have been using atf to seal tires for years. Be sure to buy the cheap off brand because it does not have the additives the expensive ones do. For the size tire in the video I would use 1 quart of atf. Actually one quart works for any tractor tire. Save the sealant bottle and hose to reuse with the atf. Or make your own hose with fish tank hose, etc.
A fine shed of animals, that middle pen I'd be loading up and off to the mart prices are crazy at the moment anything over 550kg suckler breed making well over €3.50/kg, it would save on feed cost and silage usage and you could be able to divide up the cows also, one wrong thump on the bullied cow could loose her calf. Great Video Karen keep up the good work
Well Karen, cattle all in few out, they like the silage, yea it is cold weather now , wrap up plenty clothes, A HOT whisky would warm u , at night, great video, kieran mcgroary from near Donegal town 😀 😄
We would take the aggressive animal out for a couple of weeks and then reintroduce the animal to the herd, the dynamic can change in the herd…..it’s worth a shot
All Masseys have Thermostart - a Heater Plug located on the air inlet manifold. Turn the key to the 'heat' position for a bit, before starting the engine. Not good to start straight up from cold like that.
Karen can I just say the photos you captured on the video with the cattle behind you and all the snow absolutely amazing🎉 You should download and and put in a frame on Canvas❤
Belo trabalho Karen ! Retire o animal agressor por um dia , se continuar, retire novamente por dois dias até que ele se sinta inferior aos demais Coragem com esse frio 😘!
Lovely video Karen , the snow looks good on ya ! Cattle look happy to be out in the snow . I miss the snow now that I live in south Texas it’s been alittle cooler lately it’s in the mid 40 f happy thanksgiving from USA stay warm young lady
Do you think a barrier would be better. I thought the bars u have in shed was a great job. I put one in this year for the store cattle and took out barrier.
If you’re going putting in a diagonal feeding barrier go the bit dearer and get a locking barrier you could use it then for AI’ing and dosing the cows it would be a great investment 👍🏻
Really enjoy your videos Karen. I run a similar size holding on the opposite side of the British Isles.(Sim crosses of course). I keep thinking about your GPS tracking system can you give details please? The cost of some systems is more than getting contractors to do the whole job!
Maybe the cows are bullying because they’re bored - get them some games to play like snakes and ladders or put the radio on. Who knew cats have elbows! 😊
Hi Karen, feed barriers will certainly help to stop bullying, please don't separate her into a pen on her own as that will only add to the problem when you have to mix them again.
@karenmoynihanfarm tbf I've not kept cows on slats , only youngstock, but have had suckler cows on straw or in kennels, barriers do stop cows being pushed off the feed. Here in Scotland we can pick up 2nd hand barriers quite easily at machinery sales for not much money, the shape is of less importance being either diagonal or vertical, both have the desired effect.
Hi Karen that was a great job with your cattle and your calf's is so happy outside and your looking after all your cattle and your looking so beautiful yourself girl ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We do tax and insure it because it would be out on the road a bit when moving cattle and things. I honestly can't remember how much because Dad looks after all of that
I'd have to take off the forks, come up for the transport box, go back down for the nuts and then back up again. Much easier and quicker to just walk 😅
@karenmoynihanfarm I don't know would de 135 be able to do this but u could try and put the box on the forks and use it that way I do it that way all de time do I do have a 390
Beautiful video Karen. Your cattle look so content. You are really committed to them.
Thank you 😊
Karen, you snow looked beautiful! Your cattle look very happy to be honest. Enjoyed your video and thank you again for sharing.
The reflective tape on the jacket gives you a Saintly Glow in the dark shed!

You ignore all the instructions on the bottle 😅

You too 😊
Super vedio as always, Looking forward to return of 390
Hi Karen. The barrier would help .what work for me is to keep silage in front of cows at all times stoped them fighting.
Ya I have been giving them more but they're very fat as it is and I want them to gradually lose some weight before it comes to calving

I think the one I have is about €1500. I do find it very handy though just because it's so easy to use
The tires might be leaking air from around the rims?
It was nearly midday before it stopped up in north kerry for us also, got some lovely pics
The place looks great in the snow in fairness
Good luck with the cold snow, My advise is to get a hat that covers your face/ears, neck and chin. 🐄🐮
Put them cattle in the shed and make work a lot easier.
@@gbrennan4777 watch the whole video 😂😂
Put the two nice ones in for company
Up man United ❤

😅😅 and I think it's an elbow, it looks like it 😅
I say the barrier will work
Your out in rough conditions
FIRST..🆒 Video Karen..!!!!
Hi Karen, feed barriers will certainly help to stop bullying, please don't separate her into a pen on her own as that will only add to the problem when you have to mix them again.
You see she won't be the youngest next year so she won't be bullied. it always moves onto the next one every year

i would love a bit of snow any excuse to get a few days off 🤣
😅😅
Just wondering if ye tax and insure gator.
If so is it the same as tractor €102tax and roughly €300 insurance 🤔
We do tax and insure it because it would be out on the road a bit when moving cattle and things. I honestly can't remember how much because Dad looks after all of that
👍@@karenmoynihanfarm

Y didn't you take the 135
Quicker and easier to walk
Great video.
Looking forward to the loader. You will probably need a weight block for the back of the 390 from my experience.
That's currently in the making now as well

What brand of engine is in the Gator ?
