Thoughts on a goalkeeper combo of flekken and lis (4m keeper). Rotate very well and lis played 2 out of 2 pre season games. Big chance of being first choice

Hi Andy, I know you aren't that fussed about FPL Challenge but are you going to be creating a league for it this season? The layout for the challenges for the first few weeks look more interesting compared to last season

What do you think about my FPL Draft? Flekken Faes, Andersen, Burn Odegaard, Palmer, Foden, Salah Isak, Watkins, Toney Subs: Turner, Winks, Harwwod-Bellis, Greaves
If Haaland and City look good vs Chelsea, surely he will be the highest captained player vs Ipswich in GW2. And if you don't save funds to get him in you will have to tear your team apart just to get him in and it's only GW2. (you'll need to be able to get him in with a single transfer also, or you'll need hits). You can always go WC in GW2 and re-draft a team but if saving the WC, I think Haaland should be in GW1 teams. I also think any Liverpool defender will be a good differential If they manage to keep CS and get attacking returns. The prices this year makes it hard to go for higher priced defenders like TAA, Robbo, VVD and they'll have some decent fixtures in the opening weeks. Last year it felt like it was somewhat easy to have a decent team with good players available at almost every price point. This year seems (at least for now) sacrifices will have to be made in order to get to some of the players we desperately want.
If you dont have Haaland and he scores two against chelsea or one and gives assist his price will be 15,2£. It’s very hard to get him in to the team if you dont have him straight away. I’m liverpool fan but you need to think that they have a new manager and city still has Pep. City players know they style of play and Liverpool players are still just learning it. Same with Chelsea/Maresca. Maresca wants to play positional football and it takes time to learn. So in gw 1 Haaland can score two goals because chelsea can be still kind of ”work in progress”

Couple of questions. 1. Why Mee over Henry? Henry was brilliant before he got injured. 2. If your current draft is without salah GW1, and with Haaland having a tough first game, why not swap Haaland for a better striker for GW1 and bank the money, which allows you GW2 to get either Salah or Haaland in 1 move
Henry would really need to prove his fitness in pre-season to consider him, been out for a long time. I'd rather start with whoever I prefer out of Haaland and Salah and save the transfer than use one so early on a player I know I'll want anyway.
@@LetsTalkFPL In the ''easy'' fixtures you plan to play him he wont even start as Brentford certainly will have a 4-3-3 with Collins and Pinnock In the difficult fixtures Mee may play but in these he is actually useless in your team Completely unneccesary trouble, just get Pinnock who will start every single game
I'd definitely go Pinnock - Mee isn't nailed when 'we' play 4-3-3 which is only ever against the weaker opposition which is the only time you'd want to play him.
Sorry I’m completely new to FPL… what is the point of doing all these drafts this far before the season starts? Doesn’t it only matter right before the first week? Are all these drafts just practice essentially?

Nice draft ! Haaland scores a goal vs Celtic and its immediate in? im joking ahah, he is fine but i think that its too much to have 3 premium forwards and none of premium midfielders but it can work
What am I missing with Mee? Bleak fixtures, matches up against your 2nd most expensive midfielder in GW1 and you have a 5.0 with real attacking threat in a better defense on the bench. And that midfield lol. Sorry to be so forthright, but I feel like you phoned this one in or something man. There are tons of better Haaland 3-4-3's floating around since last week.
Isak at home gw1 is my captain then have Haaland in place for gw2 Dutch manager at Liverpool makes me think an in form gakpo will start over hit n miss nunez so he's my Liverpool attack
Can you possibly add another chapter for the goalkeepers outside of defenders? Sometimes I want to get back to the beginning of the defender part and I can't find it. Btw I went the completely opposite way you did and sacraficed my Haaland to have Salah Palmer and Son at midfield. My forwards are Isak and Havertz but I'm still thinking of sacraficing some players on bench to have either Saka or Watkins or maybe both.
Might be handy during pre-season I guess, but longer term over the season goalkeepers just remain in the team and they're barely worth talking about :) I did the Haaland sacrifice in my first draft last week but not sure I can go against Haaland for IPS (h).
Haaland is irreplaceable and the clear captain (90% of the time) but I feel like Salah could be replaced and 12.5 million could be spread out better elsewhere.
Not sure about the Isak thing but Rogers at the moment is one that if he gets minutes could be a steal. When he plays he generally plays in those wide attacking midfielder roles and he played well towards the end of last season. I wouldn’t expect include him as a starter though, only if you can afford the extra 0.5 for a bench midfielder.

@@LetsTalkFPL In the ''easy'' fixtures you plan to play him he wont even start as Brentford certainly will have a 4-3-3 with Collins and Pinnock
In the difficult fixtures Mee may play but in these he is actually useless in your team
Completely unneccesary trouble, just get Pinnock who will start every single game
still don’t get why not having both and still can get gordon, eze, isak, trent, nkunku, wood and assess in GW3
Andy ,what about Pinnock over Ben Mee ? Or is it a Funds issue .
They're the same price!
I'd definitely go Pinnock - Mee isn't nailed when 'we' play 4-3-3 which is only ever against the weaker opposition which is the only time you'd want to play him.
I think it’s really hard to fit in Trent if you have Haaland.
I prefer Haaland over Salah but would still include one premium mid
Sorry I’m completely new to FPL… what is the point of doing all these drafts this far before the season starts? Doesn’t it only matter right before the first week?
Are all these drafts just practice essentially?
What's the point of doing anything? 😄
FPL managers play around with their squads a lot during pre-season, trying different things.
I'm no different, I just share it on videos.
@@LetsTalkFPL thanks for the response! Didn’t mean it to sound rude. I was unsure if there was an advantage to making a draft early or something. It sounds like it’s just practice though and the official draft comes before the first game
@@FluffiestWalrus No definitely no advantage, and I didn't think it was rude btw :)
But yeah, this is the part of the season where there's hope and because of that we like to play around with squads.
Chilling with a 93 team rating without haaland

Yh same but with a 94 rated cmon
@@mthokozisiemmanuel8202 my team is
Sanchez
Taa Gvardiol munoz
Gordon Rogers palmer saka salah (captain)
Wood Isak

@@mthokozisiemmanuel8202 dont use new signings and use players that performed well last season. The AI isnt that great yet
@zach_round what's your team?
Gabriel and Saliba are our starting CB partnership no matter what, theres no rotation risk dont be fooled
Nice draft ! Haaland scores a goal vs Celtic and its immediate in? im joking ahah, he is fine but i think that its too much to have 3 premium forwards and none of premium midfielders but it can work
Recorded this video before that game even happened!
Didn’t Maresca say something about his System leaking Goals?
Haaland for GameWeek 1 would be a no Brainer if that’s the Case
not having any of the premium midfielders is a tough sell.
I think for first 5/6 game weeks I might go with both Robertson and taa instead of gvardiol and Trent
Bruh.... I've all 3 in my current draft
@@Colm-wk9zwyou must have a god awful midfield then
@Callum-j6t currently on Rogers, Gordon, Salah, MGW and was on Bruno but now not sure on 5th mid
@@Colm-wk9zwis that with haaland
@Callum-j6t no I've just salah
Saka or foden guys? With the same fixtures I’d say saka but 3 horrible fixtures in the first 5 turns me off
At what price would yous choose not to pick haaland? im think 17.0?
Will Mara play? Killing it in PS
Foden PoTY covers Haaland perfectly fine, no need to ruin your team to fit in the big man
Only the top 5 winners will be gifted a GrandPrize this FPL*

Isak at home gw1 is my captain then have Haaland in place for gw2 Dutch manager at Liverpool makes me think an in form gakpo will start over hit n miss nunez so he's my Liverpool attack
Morgan gibbs white or Leon Bailey?
I think that’s a woeful draft. Week MF and with Villa in UCL it’ll affect rotation
Might be handy during pre-season I guess, but longer term over the season goalkeepers just remain in the team and they're barely worth talking about :)
I did the Haaland sacrifice in my first draft last week but not sure I can go against Haaland for IPS (h).
@@LetsTalkFPL Yeah you're right. Keep up with the good pre-season content and you might convince me to bring back Haaland for GW1.
Is 98 rating in fantasy football hub is good compared to pros?
Between 90-100% the differences are really small imo, and a lot depends on variance
And also team ratings means absolutely nothing.
@Biscuits645 well said not sure why everyone bothers with this
Haaland is irreplaceable and the clear captain (90% of the time) but I feel like Salah could be replaced and 12.5 million could be spread out better elsewhere.
@@poolfans wdym? im saying the money used to buy salah could be used to buy other better options
95 without haaland but i still dont like it i want to change something
Just two things: Is Rogers a good option? Another thing: someone said in a fpl discord that Isak was injured. Is that true?
Not sure about the Isak thing but Rogers at the moment is one that if he gets minutes could be a steal. When he plays he generally plays in those wide attacking midfielder roles and he played well towards the end of last season. I wouldn’t expect include him as a starter though, only if you can afford the extra 0.5 for a bench midfielder.
What is that midfield😮? I have Gordon,Palmer,Foden,Hudson odoi, rogers and have haaland and isak in attack
No watkins and premium def obv.....
Too much spent on defence for me. Defenders were a waste of time last season.
since douglas louis is gone, is watkins on pens now?
Hi Andy. No United players? Any thoughts on Bruno F?
