I love the background. It's the yin n yang, up-down, push-pull, it's showing the duality, what is ugly to some and beauty to others. Also, the growth, like you said where we all have been to what is possible.
I love the background. The pieces... those lines... are SOOO CLEAN that the contrast with the grungy background is great. It makes the pieces shine even more, and I love the messy scribbly tags reflecting the roots of your art.
That's a 100%...I grew up in the Bronx doing urban art in the 80s, and I did a lot of black & silver pieces and throw ups....over a lot of dirty wall. The back ground is the closest you can get to capturing that true graff street perspectives. Salute 2 a great idea.
@Slimz Beats Actually you're right. I think I confused what the original comment meant. It makes it pop in the literal sense. As in it makes the 3D texture really pop out. I only meant I don't like the trash graffiti around it. The way he makes the shading with the brick background is excellent
I like that you are a humble person. You do not use your "Fame" to disregard or disrespect other writers, especially those toys coming up right now. Keep up the good work!
As an 80's kid and graffiti artist myself, I absolutely feel like the background fits perfectly. It's no different than throwing up a piece on a "blank wall" that's covered in chicken scratch. It's almost a sign of validation for the new artists who are using that wall to practice on. It's kind of like saying, "yeah...this is actually a good wall. Here's a clean piece for inspiration".
Man, this is DOPE! Extremely awesome art piece. The color palette you guys picked it's so so good. In my opinion you guys achieved 100% the goal for this piece. It shows exactly what you were going for.

Can I ask professional question..? How do you keep track on your budgeting for projects and what is needed for to maintain what is essential for the bills (like house, rent, electrical etc)?
Hey man! Wonderful question - and it is, what breaks most artists neck - not the bills, most times the fact that you need to safe money for the taxes. I in person need to make 5000€ a month to pay all my dues, from elextricity to taxes including holidays, family time, buying a new computer, material, everything. I track everything that I buy, and write it into an excel sheat, give those things categories, like "dumb shit" "investment" "material" "rent" "car" etc. - and at the end i can always see, where i spend too much money, I can compare the years, etc. ... funny fact: all my clothes are second hand, i do all renovations and repairs at the house on my own, and drive a rusty car...
