Very good price for the value. I'm a biologist, and I can tell that the scientific part on the book is very well documented, yet very accessible.
Beautiful layout, I like the way it alternates between pretty photographs and the line drawings. Seems like a great inspirational reference, thanks for letting us take a good look at it :)
Great review. Was going to get one but Amazon say it doesn't come with a dust jacket. Does anyone know if this is correct? As I would've liked one with.
@@teohyc Thanks for the reply. I thought it should have one, it's the 2010 version. Not sure what Amazon are up to then, may have to look for it somewhere else. The pages are still the same though and it is a great book.

I really want this book as someone who’s loved botany from childhood (and is now exploring watercolour) but tragically it’s so expensive to buy it in NZ! Even from Amazon. And it’s not in my library either!! #distraught
The illustrations in this one are really incredible! Its rare to see a "how to" book where the artists own work is of that high quality!

There are different editions. The hardcover should come with dust jacket if I remember correctly
