I have been watching this video for over a year.. I finally bought the yarn🎉 I made it🎉its beautiful🎉 thank you so much for video ❤
You dont have to exuse the children. Just lovly to hear them happy🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for teaching me new technique on how to get a straight edge. I love to hear happy children in the background.
The stitch pattern is great, the design of the shawl is unique, the skill you've used in your tutorial... impeccable! Loved it all the way. Thank you ☺
I love how you draw a diagram. Gives me a good mental picture of what I'll be doing. Looks like it's time for a trip to Hobby Lobby! Really looking forward to making this project.
I made this a couple years ago for a coworker and she absolutely loved it! Now I am making one for myself. So easy to follow! Thank you so much!
I’m so glad this popped up when a did a search for pocket shawls it’s beautiful and I just love the shape….it will sit beautifully on the shoulders. I will not be looking at anymore…this is the one…bye for now 💁🏼♀️will be looking through your channel and subscribing.
Wow! If that isn’t just the most clever shawl I have ever seen! And so simple! Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow, I stopped crocheting because I couldn’t stop watching your video and how you made the shawl, amazing! Thank you, I am intrigued and think I will try this as I get cold easy anyway so the hood and the pockets are a plus 😎😄💕🤩
Wow, thank you!
I’ll be using the stack sc on my other projects. Thank you for sharing your skills
I have been looking at this video for a yr. Finally gave it a try and I must say I'm in love. I'm going to make lots
I love this pattern! I have made 4 as gifts and am working on the fifth one. Enjoyable to crochet.
I was looking for a nice shawl that I wouldn’t find too difficult to make up & with a good memorable pattern when I stumbled across this video showing this amazing pattern/design. I was hooked & sold on making it when you showed how to do the sc stack instead of a chain, which I’ll be using from now on wherever a standing/end/turning chain is needed, such a great & ingenious solution.
I’m not quite a beginner but nowhere near an expert & found your video guide great to follow and create, thank you for sharing.
I love the sound of happy children 😊 I am making this as we speak with a mandala yarn and its turning out awesome!
I love this shawl. I’ve been hunting for a pattern to make it in English. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I’m working on this now thank you! Takes a lot for me to pick up a project because I have to be totally invested and really in love with it otherwise I get bored way too quickly. Thank you again ♥️🥰♥️
You got this!
You are the best crochet designer I've seen in awhile. Tfs your talents.
Wow, what a compliment, thank you!
@@jolieknotscrochet3550 any chance you'll have a poncho coming out? I'm tired of the overdone granny poncho.
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely pattern! I am currently working on a third one with 2 more requests to do after this one. My 2 daughters LOVE theirs and are always getting compliments. Because of you, my hands and mind are always busy doing what they love most💞
I'm about half way thru this project in georgeous rainbow mandala. I'd consider myself advanced beginner and love how this is working up
I love this! I made it in purples. With all the snow happening here in PA. It’s nice and cozy!
I just finished mine, it was so easy to customize, I love it. Thanks so much for the video.🥰🥰
FINALLY!!!! A pocket shawl with a hood! AMAZING!!! Tysm for sharing this with us all. I can't wait to make myself one of these....yes...for me :) ~finally:)~

How did I just find this !!!? My Christmas for me !! Absolutely lovely.
Ein wunderschöner kuschliger Umhang. Es hat soviel Spaß gemacht ihn zu häkeln. Vieklen lieben Dank für diese tolle Anleitung ❤❤❤

I am an intermediate knitter and crocheter, but I don't feel experienced enough to make a sweater, so when I saw this, I realized that it is perfect, it's a poncho with a hood. And I can add buttons to the front to keep it closed. I can't wait to make this! Thank you for the video. And anyone who doesn't like to hear children in the background, watch Cinnamon Stitches. God bless you and your family.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much!!
@@jolieknotscrochet3550 Your welcome, in case you didn't know on Cinnamon Stitches videos her children, two dogs, her husband, a clock and wind chimes can be heard at various times in the background. Hahaha!
Don’t worry about the children they make it more relaxing. And there is nothing like the laughter of children to make me calm when crocheting
I love it, thank you for the upload. Im a new subscriber. it took me about a week to make. my mom wants it lol. I love crocheting. what a blessing from God to have the crochet talent. I like the crocheted shirt your wearing in the video.
That’s makes me happy ...kids having fun is such a joy 😘🙏🏻❤️
Thank you!
I made one of these with Bernat Blanket yarn. And it is comically large and I love it hehe thank you sm
This is perfect 👌 my aunt who’s 74 wants a shawl that low in the back and has pockets, so I’m thinking this will be perfect for her. Thank you for sharing and I did subscribe 😃👏😍
You’re welcome 😊
Just bought the pattern , will start tonight , beautiful pattern
Wonderful! thank you!!
This is absolutely wonderful. Learned a new stitch here lol 😆 💙 (stacked sc)
Wonderful!
I love this shawl pattern, I've made 3 so far.
I donated one to a charity auction, for the Wyandotte Animal Shelter.
I just finished mine, I used a tweed yarn from lion brand, Vanna's choice. It's beautiful!
I bought the written pattern, but you explained the steps so well, I didn't need to use it this time.
I’m so glad! Thank you so much for sharing!
PS I’m equally impressed with your garden in the background as I am a plant person too.
Thank you 😊
Brilliant! I think I might make at least two!! 😃🥰🌼🌞
Please do!
Thank you very much for this wonderful tutorial I like it very much and I always waiting your tutorials
You are welcome 😊
Absolutely gorgeous! And cozy looking!! Thank you!
I still love the sound of your daughter having fun! My son is 25 now. Boy how time flies! I wanted to tell you I finally completed the yoke of a top down cardigan!! It has only taken a year and half and 6 tries at this sweater alinev(not this sweater, meaning your lovely pocket shawl). Thanks to all the instruction from you and a few other favorite TH-camrs, I am finally getting it! I probably mentioned that I’m disabled and have arthritis, a lung autoimmune disease, and I just found out I have 2 problems with my heart. Anyway, not to pour out my heart, but you guys have given me goals again! Because of my health, I had been living day to day, but now I have lots of crocheting to do!!
This will be my next project. Thank you so much. Love from Turkey. 😃❤️🙏
Love love love!!!!!!! I can’t wait to finish my current project so I can start this one.
I love the hood! It looks so cosy ☺️ thanks for sharing
You are so welcome!
I see why you said to increase or decrease in multiples of 4 for our own sizes/heights. The increases and decrease in the back. I like this pattern great for the winter coming up!
Dear Crystal! This is such a gorgeous hoody shawl and pattern! It is definitely my next project. I also joined your Facebook group. I also find your videos easy to follow and they are of good quality! Kind regards from South Africa 🥰🧶🦒🐘🦓🌻
I have ordered yarn from Hobbii in various colors and was thinking of changing them every two rows. It's also a DK weight yarn so it would be more for Spring, Summer and Autumn. Thank you for your pattern. God bless you and your family.
Did you order from Hobbii in Copenhagen? If so, how is the customs import fees handled?
They have a couple of yarns I really like but never ordered anything from Europe before.
I'm so happy I found this! I purchased the pattern and will start today!!!
I love your work your instructions are very easy to follow thank you for sharing
I love how this works up.
This is gorgeous!
So
Far I have made 2 of course the second one came out better 😅 Now I’m making one for my granddaughter who is turning 10 for her birthday. ❤
This is just the pattern I've been searching for! So glad I found your channel. P.S. I made your Monstera Plant Hanger earlier today and I love it!! Thank you!
Oh yay!!!! I’m so glad you liked it
I love this shawl hoodie. It’s lovely. Thanks so much for the video & sharing your knowledge. I’m anxious to start my own asap!
💞I love it bc I love shawls and love how this one has the hood and all, so cozy!
I’m so happy to have come across your video. Although I can’t easily get hobby lobby yarn being in Canada I will use a Caron cake which I have lots of. Thank you for this video. I’m anxious to make this beautiful hooded cape. I love ponchos and have made a few but this looks interesting. Been looking at your videos and your work is lovely thanks again. 🤗
Thank you!
Omg I just finished mine
I LUV LUV IY
thank you so much 🥰🥰
WAIT...WHAT?! Stacked SC 👀 👍🏼
Ikr
I know right. I was like ooh a new stitch but she kept saying it makes. double crochet so...
It has me confused. So do we count that as a stitch
@@howardcinnamon Yes its actually a double but not sure why she does the two singles...her pattern
It's beautiful. I am glad I accidently found your channel. Little confused though. Chain of 101, put stitch marker in, then another 101 chains gives you 202. You said there should be 201. My question is if I make bigger it is multiples of 4 plus 1 for center stitch? So, I would chain 124, chain 1 more and put marker in, then chain 124? Sorry if this is confusing.
I said 201 double crochets 😉 you’ll begin in the 2nd chain from the hook
You would have an odd number, place stitch marker, then chain that exact odd number as the first side
@@jolieknotscrochet3550 Thank you for the quick response. I should have realized that myself since I am not a beginner. Lol. I will blame it on it being Friday the 13th. Thank your the tutorial. Can't wait to finish it.
So glad you like it 😊
Love your tutorial and your background thank you
So beautiful I do it with purple color
Thank you 💕💕💕
Okay i see now why everyone loves this!!! I’m going to make this. Thank you.
Oh I would love to make this, afraid to even try.
Super cute!!
I’m in love with this pattern
I’m have been unable to clearly see how the good attaches to the shawl😊
Meet up your middle points and sc to join
I absolutely love this pattern! ❤
Beautiful. Love this
Thank you for showing it in self stripping yarn! I was wondering how it would look!
Beautiful couldn't wait for this
Yay it’s out 💚💚💚 it’s so pretty crystal 🤩
I want that sweater you’re wearing ❤
300 shipped 😃
Excellent explanation....the kids in the background just makes it more genuine. .I am buying your pattern on Ravely. Is there any other stich to replace the puff stitch row that could be used for variation???
That is so cute! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
I definitely would like to try this but after the holidays. Thats alot of yarn at one time for me but thanks for sharing.
Yay. I've been waiting on this to come out. I can't wait to make it. Thank you so much. 😊😊😊🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍😍😍🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌💝💝💞💞💟💟💟❣❣🖤🖤🖤💜💜💜💜💜
You are so welcome!
Would be nice to have the yarn weight and hook in description, so putting it here for anyone who's wanting to do this, so they can get it before starting.
Yarn Weight - Worsted (4Ply or Size 4 Yarn)
Hook - I / 5.5 mm
Other than that, so far I do like this instructional video - I prefer to use patterns, but this hooded shawl is gorgeous!
Thank you 😊. All of those details are in the ravelry link as well, but i appreciate you adding them here
Gorgeous! Can’t wait to make...
So much for sharing I’m going to make this one
Please do!
How many chains for 5 ft person. Does anybody know?
Hola podria traducirlo a ESPAÑOL.gracias ..es muy lindo lo que enseña
This is GORGEOUS 💜💜💜💜
Beautiful pattern. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome 😊
On row 9 I ended on the chain two space instead of the last double crochet. Will this mess up the pattern? And can i fix it without having to undo my work to figure out where i messed up? Thank you for the beautiful pattern! Im making this for my nephew's!!
Thank you for you interest abot hooded i started5chin
This is so pretty! So glad this video showed up in my reccomended! Subscribed! 😀
Yay! Thank you!
Love it... Sharing to Facebook Group Crochet with Lady Duchess..💗❤💖🌹😷😀👍
Awesome! Thank you!
Just kids no worries
I’ve been looking for something like this and the instructions for the shawl were very easy to follow!
But….I really wish you would have explained the hood better. I really don’t understand the pattern for the hood and the instructions were vague. I’ve done the whole shawl but hung up on the hood. 5 stitches wasn’t enough to show what to do. I really want to finish this but I’ve tried to do the hood 7 times but I still don’t understand the instructions 😢
Love LOVE LOVE!! That tiny hat made me giggle 😂
Thank you dear 💐💐
Very beautiful ❤❤
I’m so excited about starting this shawl, thank you! My name is Crystal as well! Just subbed to your channel.
تسلمي الايادى والافكار
Just gorgeous!!!
Beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial ❤️
You’re welcome 😊
Very beautful, good job
Hi, I did mine with thinner cotton, it's beautiful, but the length is to short, how can I lengthen it without pulling everything out😢
This is a masterpiece! Bravo! 💜😻🥳🤘🏿
