Not sure how I feel about an almost fully koa bodied acoustic guitar. From what I know, koa is very focused on the mid range frequencies, and while it sounded nice in the video, I do prefer what I hear from the regular D-28's. The koa model seems to lack a little something here.
That guitar sounds very nice, but looks terrible and any man would look ridiculous playing it, it's not just this dude. And all the people saying it's pretty have a strange taste, I'd say. A plain D28 or D18 is beautiful, not THAT., for Cs. (And also, peace, brothers, just saying, I'm in a deprecating mood today, and probably I have worse taste in most things than you. And also, if somebody gave that guitar to me, I'd still play it, although in secret).

Sounds woolly and muddy. But maybe thats because the mic is pointed at the sound hole. Disapointing for such a spectacular piece of Koa.

That one muted note at 1:45 is bugging the hell out of me.
Why? You never seen anyone make a mistake? I've seen the best players in the world make mistakes. Guitar is a difficult instrument to play perfectly.
The guitar lacks punch. It looks sensational of course, but I've heard much nicer guitars. Or maybe the EQ and setup are way off?

Sounds very average. Wouldn't buy it based on sound..... But wonder how the guitar will open up over time.
ive heard 1k Corts sound better than this...its true then,Koa does take awhile to open up
