I live in Bali and there are so many talented singers amd musicians in Imdonesia. The amazing thing with Putri (apart from her perfect singing voice) is her pronunciation of every word. Many singers here can't pronounce the English words properly because they cant pronounce certain letters like native English speakers do. She's so underrated on this point amd the fact she memorises every English song word for word, whilst playing the keyboard/piano. It's incredible! Even understanding the nuances in the words. She blows my mind!
I'm American. And we certainly don't under estimate her annunciation or pronunciations. It's better then most of us that have been speaking English all our lives. And yes there is a lot of talent in Indonesia. But honestly Putri in many music industry opinions that I know of. Is a rare very special generational talent vocally and musically. Apparently, Putri blows minds in all aspects of singing in Hindi and Arabic, as well. I was blown away by her cover of WW2-era French global classic of Edith Piaf's "La Vie en Rose," ("Life in Pink)". I mean, every stylistic and cultural nuance...

What can they teach her at Julliard!!? The worst thing about music colleges is they can make gifted students self-conscious and analytical. This can have a negative impact on natural talent. Sadly, not everyone emerges from music college better than before they went in.
