I’m not that grate at giving advice when it comes to this but I’ll tell you the process for how I make my songs. First I choose a mood for my song, for this one I chose groovy and then sad (I switched them mid-song) then I choose a personality for my song, for this I choose sassy then switched to lazy/giving up (yeah sassy is quite odd but it went well, and yes I know giving up really isn’t a personality but it was something I wanted to convey in the song.
