Hey, what's the biggest difference between the N8000 and the N9000 skates?

Would you say these are much stiffer than the Nexus 800 (which was also 1 level down from the flagship), or just a bit Chase? Thanks!

+Ice Warehouse was on the apx2 and the mx3 a while back just feel their holding out on what is still a very premium product and wouldnt cost an arm and a leg to put in to their skates for the high price point

Hey Chase, I'm currently in a pair of one100s. What exactly would i be gain or losing if I were to switch over to these skates.

Hi Chase, I'd like to know how you would compare these with the Nexus 1000s. Thanks! :)

These look incredibly close to the 2014 edition Supreme 190 skates. Since you said the N9000 skates are a little more narrow, are the N9000 skates wider than the Supreme 190's? I have the Supreme 190's in 3.5EE, and I need something deeper/wider in the instep/forefoot.
Side question, are these very stiff in the junior sizes? At the top of the laces where you're squeezing, my 4EE Vapor X90's were very stiff (which I liked), but my 3.5EE Supreme 190's are not nearly as stiff. Thanks

+Ice Warehouse Although not what I'm talking about, I have seen the comparisons to the ONE90's heh. Unfortunately I realized I do not fit well with the Vapors or the Supremes, so I'm looking into Nexus EE. Thanks for the replies!

Hi Brandon! Wishing and dreaming about new skates, nexus line as i used that line before,n7000,n2700.Thinking about 1n but,too expensive. What do you think about n9000? Good protection? Nice fit? Improvement in skating?

      Hey!
The N9000 has incredible features at a great price point. Protection is top of the line because of the composite outsole. That also offers pro level stiffness for skating and when baked will wrap around your foot like a blanket. Two thumbs up for the N9000.

Ice Warehouse need your help.Nexus 7000,not n7000 is it previous pre top model? How is the protection and comfort of the model? Is it full baked boot? Can it be compare to n9000? Thanks in advance for your answer!

I wear a 7.5 One.9 in 7.5 and the heel is slipping on me after just 6 months. The skate is .5 size too big but I went up a half size to accommodate a high arch and wide front foot. The issue is the heel lock stinks. SO what skate in the bauer line would be best for a thick foot, high arch but narrow heel??? Maybe the Nexus 7EE or 7D? I know it's a tough question, appreciate any feedback. Maybe I can order 2 sizes and send one back? The model would be a big concern.

+Ice Warehouse sounds like you may be right. I ll check the 7.0EE stock in Nexus Line.

I'll be playing juniors next season, and will be on the ice minimum 5 times a week. Would this skate get me through 2 seasons? Any major advantages over the N8000 to justify a $200 price difference?

This helps a ton, thanks! Another question, performance wise, will there be a noticeable boost in speed/skating ability between the two?

      +Ice Warehouse alright, thanks again

If you go with with the N8000, I think you will lose some stiffness sooner than the N9000, so I think it's cheaper to pay the extra $200 upfront than paying another $600 next season. If you are trying to get into colleges with juniors, i think you should invest in the top of the line 1N, the logic is that paying for $300 more is a better investment than paying $100,000 for college if you didn't get a hockey scholarship.

    Hi! How much these weigh?

    • @qiranwang
      @qiranwang 8 ปีที่แล้ว

skates weigh differently depending on the size. nonetheless, skates in the same price range shouldn't be off by too much that will make you notice the difference.
