I actually had to get out of my truck once, and walk up to the man in front of me, and ask him to move up to that line, after we’d sat through 3 changes of the lights without getting our left turn arrow. As soon as he pulled up to the sensor, we got a green arrow. Lol. I’ve also had to make people that drove right past it and were sitting in the intersection back up, so I could complete my turn in a tractor trailer. People don’t understand why that left turn line is usually farther back than the others…That’s why. They figure up how much a tractor trailer has to swing out to make the turn, and place it where it needs to be for the trucks to be able to make the turns (to keep cars out of the path the truck or trailer needs to travel. Lol).
