Beautiful kit, and well done video. I like to hear each instrument as it's talked about, but at least you played the kit at the beginning of the video, so that's something. Thanks for sharing, brother.
Glad you enjoyed it! You're right. But it's technically much more complicated to record it properly. Much more editing is needed. And I suck at it. Sorry!
Jan, Thanks for letting me know about your drum kit tour. I love the sizes and set-up, especially how you've aligned the toms, it looks really ergonomic. How do you like playing the cable HH versus a traditional HH with the standard rod system... do you feel much, if any, difference between the two types?
You are so welcome! Listen. There's difference, that's for sure. But it's not too much of a lag in response when compared to standard hi hat machine. And they're not too heavy to press. Similar in a way...These Pearl ones are great. I guess other manufacturers make them great as well
@@janpeleivelic4234 Thanks for the feedback! I have a remote cable HH from Tama I got in the mid-80's and never 'warmed-up' to it, as it felt a bit sluggish to me. So I just put it away and never revisited it. I started playing open-handed several years ago, lowered my HH to just above snare hieght and tilted it in as far as practical with the HH stand (legless type, attached to the bass drum). I want to get another drum set and add more toms than my current set-up (2x26" 12", 13", 16", 18") and really would like to get that HH back and to the left to get that kind of tom alignment like you have here. I'll have to give the latest generation cable HH stands a try, maybe make sure the cable is shorter too to get that feel better. Again thanks for the reply. Cheers!
Best sound demo that I’ve heard of Natal drums!
Thank you so much! Let them know!❤😊
