I’m doing a retrospective personal deep dive into her music and videos, in this era of her Celebration tour. I realized I commented on your video here 2years ago. This anthem is her spiritual calling card when she wants to dial up heaven. It’s so uplifting, inspirational and glorious. My fave version is her MDNA Redemption segment when she performed I’m A Sinner, then a little of Cyber-raga, ending with a rousing Like A Prayer-she went Hindu/Buddhist (with those 4 dancers striking yoga poses from a lotus sitting position) to Christian gospel choir, revival/rapture choreography as she goes on her knees-swaying her head and arms back and forth like in a trance/religious ecstasy (as if “touched by the Holy Spirit” as the Christian charismatics call the ritual). When all is said and done, Like A Prayer is her ultimate artistic legacy. Great compilation.
