@@EmoryHaddix94 it’s more practical for anglers who fish the Ocean and rivers. The pond and lake guys keep calling it an over engineered minnow bucket😂 they think everyone fishes in still water where a bucket won’t be beating up against your Yak.
The problem was really with the shrimp. When I was transporting them from the place I bought them I had to hit the brakes for a bad driver and I believe the sloshing stress killed the majority of them. I have run it since this video and everything works great! I do use a larger portable battery pack and it’ll last 9+hrs so far.
And for your spray bar idea.. I backed the line out of the lid more so that the water “waterfalls” into the bucket to increase oxygen as well. But turning it into a spray bar sounds pretty cool. I’ll alter a line and try it out!
@@TheBoxedFish I have been looking at those little pumps as a way to get away from using my bubbler. I have a much larger version i use when i go on a bait run that uses a 12v bilge pump and a spray bar. I think its a 52 quart box. Between the fresh supply of water and the spray bar adding o2 i can keep 60 o so dozen of minnows alive. on the 4 hour run from my minnow spot to the launch. I can then throw the pump into the box and it acts as a recirc to keep them alive till i get them into my bait tanks at home. Its a massive set up so i only take it when iam restocking my tanks. Bu it works so well i want to convert my little day boxto the same setup. But a bilge pump would be overkill and that little pump looks just right.
Very clever with the water pump! Never thought of that.

Definitely going to have to try this out!
Please do!
Nice!
@@kenneththomas8299 I appreciate the support KT!
Any idea why it didnt go so well?
Maybe add a spray bar on the inside on the pump discharge?

@@TheBoxedFish I use a ice chest with a bubble myself right now. I power it with usb ports i built into my crate that also holds a 50ah lifepo4.

@@NiteWolfeFishing that’s a cool large setup though!
