Shout out to everyone keeping up with their fitness goals in quarantine. Also to Chris for providing some free coaching for all of us.
I'm starting to believe that all Chris guys are nice, Hemsworth made his fitness app free for people in quarantine, now i found this one with awesome home workouts
Hey wassup guys, question is it actually convenient to do this every morning??
@@ferminmorales438 I do it once or twice a week, its pretty intense. I jump rope usually for my daily cardio
Thanks dude! Good luck everyone, let's get in the best shape on our lives !
I'm also doing this every working day of the week in isolation :)))
This every morning for 3 months has been one of the main ingredients to me going from 112kg to 87kg thanks buddy!
Just doing this routine?
What about your diet?
Nada Elmo. I kept a 1000 calorie deficit every day. Hard work but so worth it.
@@benkimbell1325 only 1000 Cal per day for an adult male? it must be a hard work! well done!
@@TheID1997 it's not only 1000 calories for day.
He got a 1000 calories deficit for day ( if he burn 3000 calories for day , he ate 2000 calories).
Eating only 1000 calories isn't good and health
I love how he says: "Doinig this first thing in the morning" ... Knowing Chris he probably already did 2 pre Workout sets....
But seriously - I started this not really knowing what to expect... And at the beginning I wasn't even able to keep up the complete routine. But I kept at it and now I can. And not only that
I'm even able to do some pull ups (not perfect form yet) - But the fact that I can do it by JUST FOLLOWING THIS ONE ROUTINE in the morning is incredible.
Sometimes I wake up an "not feel like it" but then I remember if I'm gonna quit now the regret will return - I WANT to change my lifestyle and this is a huge part of it!
I'm in my mid 30's now and I don't think it's too late to start... Thx Chris
And if you read it to this point I want to thank you too - hopefully you stay motivated no matter your age or actual fitness level - go strong
Congrats bro.... I will also try this from today
It's never too late to start...
Reading this in 2024 and just about to start. Thank you for the kind words at the end. I'll do my very best to keep motivated

8 weeks: 3 times a week of this with 2 rounds each, 3 strength training at gym per week, 10k steps each day, eating clean 80 % of the time; lost almost 6 kg (13 lbs) of fat and shit and gained 0.4 kg (0.9 lbs) of muscle. That is, went down from 86.7 kg (191 lbs) to 80.9 kg (178 lbs), meaning that fat percentage dropped from 21.5 % to 14.6 %. Measured with InBody test. I know, not the most accurate but still very happy with results. Thanks Chris!
8 more weeks with the same routine except for I replaced one HIIT with a 10 min ab workout. Lost 3 kg (6.6 lbs) of fat and gained 0.1 kg (0.22 lbs) muscle. So fat percentage dropped from 14.6 % to 11.5 %. Cheers!
@@penixtrapww Awesome! any further update??
@@49zeph Thanks! I continued to do that for 2 more months. Final weight was 77.4 kg. So, around 10 kg in 6 months. The InBody measurement indicated that no muscle mass was lost.
After that, I did not continue this routine actively, but did weight training. I have gained 3 kg back. I am slowly coming back to the HIIT routine for another 6 month period. Thumbs up!
Everyone wish me luck. I recently started working out with a combination of this with some other routines. I was at 225lbs, I’m down to 205. Wish me luck I’m aiming for 175.

@@san1883, he doesn't give good information tho and some of his workouts suck
Yes for me this workout is a challange and better you do 7 minutes as nothing. And you can add more rounds, thank you chris.
From my own experience, I just finished my first week doing this routine every day, what I really enjoyed and got me to do it daily was how impactful was the first time I tried it, sweating like crazy and definitely felt it with my heart rate increasing. At first I tried really hard to complete the whole 45 seconds in some of the exercises but couldn't (hated the half burpees at first, couldn't even do it and it is the first exercise!) but today I definitely improved, did the whole 45 seconds for half burpees! and completed the routine at it's full 45 seconds each (except the jumping squats, I lasted 30 seconds and then called it for the day, but I'll get there!) Excited to keep improving and dreaming to complete more rounds. Will try to keep this comment updated for those interested. Good luck everyone out there putting real effort and for those who keep wanting to, just do it, don't think about it, it takes so little of your time and you feel amazing afterwards
Love your attitude. I’m rooting for you 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Quick update! I've been doing it daily for... 3 - 4 weeks now and I can definitely complete all exercises which is awesome, also, I've become better at regulating my breathing, making it easier and not feeling like I'm dying at the end haha,, physically my partner and family have made comments about looking better already, especially my chest and arms, Chris is amazing, definitely recommend looking at his food videos
hey how u doing? i got a question.. after this morning workout, do you train in afternoon? you know, throughout the day you do exercise? i want to know because idk if it is okey if i only workout this routine at morning and thats all or i need to do more later? regards!
@@colome7033 Hello, I just started working out with this routine with no other exercise throughout the day and I did feel more energetic and started to balance my weight, so I wasn't gaining any weight but not losing it either, until I combined it with a small change in my diet, I started eating just enough to not be hungry, not full but not hungry and results started to show right after 2 weeks. Remember doing something is always better than not doing anything at all! So if you decide you don't want to change your diet, I will say to continue doing this routine regardless and maybe eventually you will like to improve your physic by adding the diet later on

“If you dont have 30 min, then wake up 30 min earlier.” ...... thats some real shit right there
Yes. Excuses are for those who don't want it enough.
But then you also have to go to bed 30 min earlier cause you don't have enough sleep for the well rested buff
Then get to bed earlier. Many people need only 5-6hrs... not 8-9. It all depends on the energy you expend during the day and your body type. You can put in a lunch nap or whenever, if you have 30-60min anywhere in the day. In the end, it's gonna come down to your priorities and focus/discipline.

Did you lose fat or just weight.
@@boromamu fat. Two years later, I still do this routine. Not as often as I used to, but still… best routine I’ve seen from any TH-camr.

Day 3 (08/20): haven’t done any, woke up late
Day 4 (08/21): one round, almost died, nicer recovery

Day 7 (08/24): two rounds, 3 minutes between then.
Day 8 (08/25): tried two rounds with 1:30 minutes of rest between then, failed at Plank Alternated Toes Tap.

Day 20 (09/05) three rounds, 3 minutes between then!
I think that I'm in the level of the routine by now, so my evolutional jorney ends here. I'll keep doing the routine I did in the day 20 for some more time, and still try to improve. Hope this motivates you, never stop working!
That's great, already seeing progress
Been doing this 3-5 times the past two weeks. Just one round for now but I’ll get two in eventually. Good work, let’s keep it up!
Let’s go bro
Do you do any other training besides that?
@@kokoko19ify yep! I do some running and lifting weights, and I follow other videos made by Chris.
I am 24, started doing this routine ~ amonth ago with almost zero fitness experience (even one round was quite hard for me to complete). Now I can do 3-4 rounds of this feeling great afterwards. And I actually managed to lose some weight! Thank you!
Uh man you motivated me
Hey, how much weight, am trying to shed about 10kgs by mid June 2020. Is it possible with this routine?

How many pound lost?
Denis Kinyua diet is everything man. You can workout all you want but if you’re not having a least a bit of a calorie deficit, it’s going to be really hard to burn fat. When looking to lose weight, always start with your diet. When bulking muscle it’s not necessarily as important but definitely still a major factor
I lost 5 percent bodyfat and I can almost see my six pack thanks to your Videos.

We only need to be the shape we wanna be. Good luck man
That's awesome man. I'm personally struggling to get it down. Nice to see some success stories to drown out the insecurities
Hey this saved me from my procrastination every time that I’m unable to get back to my routine due to sickness or lack of motivation. This circuit built me up from my states being either scrawny or insecure cos of weight gain. Been doing the same video since years that I can almost play it in my head, thank you for the impact you brought with your content.
Started this morning routine when quarantine hit my country. 3 months of this every single day with reasonable diet (no restrictions but no excess of calories) and I lost 35 pounds of fat (~16kgs). I lost a size of clothes and I am getting visible muscles. Haven't seen them in years.
As you said in another video, consistency is key.
Thank you very much for sharing your training videos.
MacRoss1792 really omg good job
@@phoebewu1915 thanks.
Last month I added to my routine a round of Thenx's video "6 pack abs for beginners you can do anywhere". Man I stagnated before and I lost more fat weight. In total since March 20th I lost 55 pounds (~25kg) and almost lost my belly fat. Like Chris says in his videos, I'm getting in the best shape of my life.
@Sinister Shak after going back to work, a lot of colleagues were like 'wow, is it really you?'
As for the family, they were really glad I finally lost weight.
I'm 30 and 6"2 (190cm).
I started at 264 lbs (~120kg) and now I'm stable with 203lbs (92kg). I've stopped losing weight. Now it is more like shredding.
The quarantine start made the biggest change first : food intake. Because of the movement restrictions, I could only go buy primary groceries. When you have to queue up for 2 hours to get inside the grocery store, you reconsider your priorities. I stopped drinking beer and soda. I stopped eating pre-made food, chips and other appetizers. I ate too much before, the equivalent of 5 meals a day. Now I eat three meals a day, with 5 fruits and vegetables. Low sugar, low carbs. I didn't stop eating those but I reduce its frequency intake. For example I stopped eating macaroni (or any pasta variant) every diner. For the first week of quarantine, the diet change made me most 8 lbs (3,6kg).
Before quarantine I was going 2 to 3 times a week to the swimming pool doing 1,5 miles (2,5km) per session. I knew I would never be able to consume calories with idling.
A friend of mine sent me this video saying it worked on a colleague. So I started on March 20th doing this routine every single morning. The first three weeks were hard to get used to it. With those first 3 weeks I lost 23lbs (~10kg). After those 3 weeks I added doing 1min plank holds every hour of the day (from 9am to 7am). With that added and the morning routing I continued losing weight. Lost 15lbs (~6kg) more during the next month. 8 weeks in that routine and I started to hit a plateau and stagnated at 229lbs (104kg).
Either I added another round of the 7min routine or something else. My friend told me he does another video, the THENX '6 PACK ABS For Beginners You Can Do Anywhere'. I started adding this one after the 7min routine.
3 weeks of these 2 videos every single morning and I lost weight again with 13lbs (5,8kg). After this I lost 2 to 3lbs (around 1kg) per week. Weight loss was less showing on the scale because I was finally building muscles. The fat disappeared enough to show muscle on my arms and legs. My former beer belly is reduced and my 'spare tire' is gone. 20 weeks to get to this shape. I still have some fat on the pecs and in the bottom of the belly. But these are always the last fat parts to disappear.
Another thing to count : rest. I slept less than 5,5 hours a day before quarantine. During this period I started sleeping more. I sleep 7 hours a day now and this is fine for me to take another day.
Consistency of exercices, a good diet and rest/sleep are the three pillars of fitness.
And after going back to work, I'm still doing the 1min plank holds. Colleagues found it weird first but now I'm their living clock.
MacRoss1792 damn dude so you lost 23 pounds in under a month?
@@donluiscanding5797 yes. And that was surprizing for myself. All I wanted at first was to not get more weight during quarantine and I got the opposite. Which is fine.

So funny bruh
Day 1: died
Day 2: ✅ muscle aches!
Day 3: ✅ still had aches but pushed through
Day 4: ✅ I wasn’t struggling or hurting as much!
Day 5: ✅ I’m honestly shocked. After three days I usually give up... but I’ve been pushing myself to keep going. I was hesitant to do this today but I just did it without thinking too much about it and I’m glad I did!
Day 6: (January 4th) ✅ wow this is crazy... but I’m determined! Also I struggled just a bit today but not as much as the first day!
Day 7: (January 5th) ✅ I was so unmotivated and not doing well mentally but I pushed and encouraged myself to do this! I can’t believe it’s been a week!
Day 8: (January 6th) ✅ I was seriously fighting the urge to stay in bed and not do this workout! I forced myself to do it regardless and felt amazing afterwards. I still struggle a bit with certain things but overall I’m getting the hang of it!
Day 8: (January 7th) ✅ I did it again! I’m very happy with myself!
Day 9: (January 8th) ✅ today wasn’t the best day... so I’m not feeling well mentally but I still did this because I can’t give up! Hopefully everything will turn out okay though.
Day 10: (January 9th) ✅ wow 10 days but it feels like it’s been so long! 😂 also I noticed that I don’t get muscle pains or aches anymore like I did the first three days! So that’s great!
Day 11: (January 10th) ✅ I feel good! I did have a little struggle today but I made it through! I may start doing other workouts though or doing this longer then just one round at some point
Day 12: (January 12th) ✅ another good day!
Day 13: (January 13th) ❌ DUN DUN DUN! did I quit? No! I’m sick. Hopefully it’s just a cold but I’m trying to take things slow... I may try again later but I’m really tired and a bit weak. We shall see later! It’s currently 11:41am so we’ll see if I’m feeling better soon... UPDATE: ✅ it’s now 2:47pm and I just got done doing it! ... so I’m probably going to shorten the length of this workout to half the time just for now just to be safe because I feel a bit winded after all that. but overall I’m proud of myself for doing it!
Day 14: (January 14th) ✅/❌ I tried to do it and only did about half before I gave up.
Day 15: (January 15th) ✅ just got done doing! Still suck though which sucks but hopefully I’ll get better soon.
Day 16: (January 16th) ❌ wasn’t feeling well and wanted to focus on getting better and resting before classes start again.
Day 17: (January 17th) ✅ I don’t know when “quitters day” is or was but I’m not looking to give up now! Also I’m feeling slightly better?
Day 18: (January 18th) ❌ I was not feeling well mentally or physically so I took a break.
Day 19: (January 19th) ❌ I was out pretty much all day! Came home with a terrible headache and decided to chill out,
Day 20: (January 20th) ✅ I started my classes again!
Day 21: (January 21st) ✅ just did this along with dancing! I dance pretty much everyday with music 😂
Day 22: (January 22nd) ✅ today I felt a bit unmotivated? Like I felt like it was a hastle just to do the workout! I think I should change it up a bit now.. like a different one or a longer one just so I don’t get bored of this one.
Day 23: (January 23rd) ✅ yeah it’s definitely time for me to change it up but I’m still deciding which workout and what type to do! I’m thinking a walking one or a dance one!
damn that is quite a journey
Youre not eating enough.
What I did to get back in shape within a month was 1 week of one round. 2 weeks of 2 rounds, and 1 week of 3 rounds. I was surprised how far I was able to go considering how much I struggled with a single round the first week. But by the end of the month, I felt like I could probably do 4 which seemed completely impossible when I started. 4 rounds at my pace would probably kill me though, so I never tried it 😂
I also died on first day
Instead of changing, try doing it 4 times in a row

I'm 64 years old and have always worked out at gyms. With the closing of my gym in March due to the virus, I checked out home workouts on TH-cam. This morning workout has been my go-to three days/week with other exercises added, for a 50 minute routine. My gym is back open, but found this new routine better and more convenient, so I won't be going back! Thanks for the great info and routines!
Definitely better working out at home. You can replace EVERYTHING from the gym with body weight, resistance bands and I love to use the rings.
The governments KILLED the gyms, that sucks.

DAY NUMERO 31 Who's still with me???? On my 7th day of doing this and I'm about to hit the routine right now.. I can do all exercises except for jumping squats, I can only go for 25 seconds and then my legs start burning I take a 10 second break and start at 35 and finish the 45 sec exercise. At first I couldn't even finish half-burpees trust me guys you will get better and better at it just stay committed. My goal is to finish the workout routine without any breaks at all.
8th Day.

@@toddbos1484 Omg im 5 seconds away from completing jumping squats. I'm thinking three more days and I will accomplish my goal. 45 seconds of jumping squats non-stop yaaay. But yeah those jumping squats are no joke.
@@flum6881 sup dude, so at first I had trouble with all of the exercises I couldn't finish jumping squats and I was barely completing all the other exercises, now on my 24th day I can complete all exercises no problem except for one, jumping squats. At first I remember doing them for 25 seconds and my legs were burning and hurting like hell. In time I was able to go for 30 seconds then 34 seconds and 36 now I'm at 40 seconds and I cant wait to do them straight for 45 seconds. I lost weight and not just because of the workout but also cuz I've been eating healthy too and haven't been drinking as well. I mean if you want to change your lifestyle for greater good then you have to stay committed to a good and healthy ass life and stay away from the bad habits.I know it's hard but trust me you're going to wake up every morning and feel like a billion bucks.
This is one of my all time favorite routines! I remember when I started doing it a year ago I could barely keep up but after a moderate degree of consistency I'm able to do it fully and rather easily with room to spare for a few more exercises. Thanks Chris!

I'm a 15 year-old female , and i'm gonna be following this for as long as i can , i'll also be writing down how the experience has been everyday.
*DAY ONE* : i surprisingly made it to the end, i feel my heart beating so fast and my musceles couldn't get the last ten jump squats done. And finally, i had to take more than a 15 second break at three points at the last three exercises.
*DAY TWO* : I also made it to the end, my stamina has grown a ton which i didn't expect.
I can feel the sore muscles from yesterday becoming harder. I don't feel like throwing up the way i was yesterday at all.
*DAY THREE* : I feel way less tired after i got the routine done, i can even walk around afterwards and not lay down half dead the way i used to the first two days.
I can certainly feel my stomach And thighs getting way stronger than they ever used to be, and also thinner especially my thighs.
*DAY FOUR* : I got it done with ease, i can feel all my muscles getting stronger and my body seriously losing fat, also i tried dancing after four days of fllowng this, and it got better, beieve it or not.
*DAY FIVE* : i can see i have lines in my arms, stomach, and legs.
Also feels like i lost some weight, a lot of it, maybe i'll weigh myself in a couplemore days to know the numbers better.
Qq Ww your stamina wouldn’t be better after just one day
jm1bulldogfan1 it'd be a sort of illusion, you usually don't pay attention to your stamina so you may make an assumption of low stamina and when you start exercising you exceed your assumption
I never commented about how much this helped me, but I started doing this workout about a week after he posted this video back in 2020 during quarantine. And I did it consistently for 4 months and was 286 when I started and I wanted to join the Air Force. They required me to get down to 190 to be able to qualify for entry and unfortunately I was not able to make it down that far. However, I did end up losing 70-80lbs in just 4 months of doing this consistently. I also did intermitent fasting along with the course and would eat from 5pm-6pm to maximize my fast length to 23 hours. In that 1 hour time span I was eating at a caloric deficit and consumed about 1700-1900 calories in that 1 meal. It was hard to do, but it absolutely worked. Cardio/HIIT workouts on a fast is such an amzing way to burn unwanted body fat. I feel amazing in my body and can actually stand to look at myself in the mirror now. I have continued doing this exact exercise since then and focused more on my explosiveness and added in a couple different routines removing all rest time. Thank you so much Chris for this amazing workout, you changed my life.

If people are not familiar with C.I.T. (Core Interval Training), don’t think this is just some gimmick. This type of training is also used by the Air Force for Basic Training. I’m not a fast endurance runner and when I came in basic training, my first benchmark was sub 19 min. Everyday, we did CIT in the morning. We only did group running maybe 3-4 times total. My second benchmark, I was running a sub 14. Then my actual test, I ran a sub 13. It helps and it works as long as you put in the right effort for you. I’m a slow long distance runner, so if I could do it, you can too. You get what you put out. If you put in lazy effort, do not expect superb results. Always remember, take it one day at a time. Don’t try to conquer the entire world in one day. Know your body, know your limitations so you avoid injuries. And make sure to have fun with it. Exercising is supposed to be enjoyable and a celebration to be proactive, not miserable and shaming. Focus on you and you’ll be great.

Hey! I'm going to try this workout for *9 days straight with my brothers. I'm really not fit and have the worst stamina. I'll try to keep you guys updated. Wish us Godspeed!
🤞Day 1: I did the workout but couldn't keep up with everything. Sometimes I had to pause and take a breather. Also to make sure my form didn't fall out of shape. After the exercise, I had to sit down and rest for 5 minutes and drink some water. I couldn't even keep up with my younger brothers but they exercise more than I do. Now I'm sitting down at it been 10 minutes but I'm still sweating a little and breathing a little harder than normal. My heartbeat has gone down but it's still faster than normal. My head hurts a little but that's probably because I don't exercise and this was big for me. Even my fingers feel a little tired typing this (although it's probably from typing so much lol) See you guys tomorrow!
👍Day 2: It was actually easier today than yesterday surprisingly. For the side plank hold, I only fell once and I was able to hold it better than yesterday. The end jumping squats are still a struggle for me though. I'm out of breath and my heartbeat is up and running.
Day 3: Skipped: went on a mission for the whole day
👌Day 4: It was actually easier to do this exercise even though I skipped a day. I was able to hold the side plank hold for the whole time without falling. The jumping squats are still really hard and I had to stop near the end and couldn't really go down all the way. I feel like my heart beating quickly but I'm not breathing as hard as before.
🙌Day 5: It got easier!! I could hold the side plank hold again. The alternating planks were also a bit easier to do although it's still one of the hardest exercises for me. The jumping squats are still extremely hard I wonder when I'll be able to conquer them. As for the high knees, I was able to keep up till the end without stopping for the first time.
🙃Day 6: I'm like breathing really hard typing this lol. The exercise is definitely easier. The last one though really got to me, can't go all the way down and had to stop a couple times cause my thighs were dying. The side plank hold is so much easier now I think and I can hold it with just a little difficulty. The half burpees I still can't really do a push-up but I think? I'm getting better. With the high knee taps, I'm now able to keep going without stopping.
