1. That's total hogwash, you can't even find a scripture to justify what you just said. God has no problem with people of other "races" mixing with each other. Moses' wife was a Cushite. This relatives balked, God did not say anything bad about it.

I was raised in the Russian Orthodox Church. These are not images of African people. This is simply the style of the medieval Pskov school. They favored these bronzed skin hues in their iconography for purely stylistic reasons. I see this taken out of context all the time and used as propaganda about the controversial ‘Black Israelite’ movement. There is no connection here, I’m sorry. These saints depicted are from ancient Judea, Asia Minor, Byzantium, and Russia. The dark skin color is, as I said, simply a stylistic preference of this particular school of iconography.
