    I always use low range when traveling 10 mph or less for extended periods, less belt slippage and much longer belt life.

    I'm going to miss the z800 videos. Great tips for low and hi range!

    I drove my brand new, bone stock, 800 trail on a maintained dirt road with a steady incline the whole way for about 10 miles on a fairly warm day. I averaged 20-25 mph (30 - 40 km/h) following my kids on their 250 cc ATVs. I noticed the cabin temp was a lot warmer running in low than high. I ran downhill in high the whole way and the cabin temp cooled quite a bit.

    Great advice for people with little to no experience off roading/trail riding. I was kind of shocked to see the 800ex. Thought for sure someone would’ve scooped that thing up already. My buddy is picking up his new 950HO today. He looked like a kid heading to the candy store when he drove by my place. Lol !!

      Lol I'll bet he was ecstatic! Well as for my 800, once the nice weather comes I imagine it will go.

    i like a good automatic but learning of a stick shift as a youngster was almost a must so gearing, high low range and engine loading is all second nature but it shows how much people just don't have that skill now a days they get into toys and the deficiencies shows up. burning belts, lugging engines, over heating and reduced equipment life.. however it's good videos like this will enlighten some people..

    I use low when driving up steep hills with 4WD, but downhill I only use 4WD for better motorbreaking

      Very cool! I can't believe how many folks tell me they bought a Zforce after watching my videos. There wasn't many videos for me to watch when I was researching Cfmoto. But a couple channels helped me make my decision. I'm looking forward to bringing videos with the new Z950! Thanks for watching.

    Well said and if you use your low and high properly your belt will last a very very long time. Sometimes on the lake I can get away in high gear no problem but then other times have no choice but to ride in low to get to my destination Just depends on the conditions of the snow if it's too thick obviously low but sometimes there's hardly any snow if you have a windy day.

    Hi friend, is the new sbs you bought z 1000 much more expensive to maintain than the Z
    800?
    And if you recommend investing and adding money to buy it for more relaxed trips than z 800?

    • @FANATICALSIDERIDER
      @FANATICALSIDERIDER  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 950 shouldn't be more expensive to maintain. Also it is more comfortable

      @@FANATICALSIDERIDER What do you think is the difference between 950 and 1000 sport? Here in Israel, only two models, 800 and 1000, are brought to Israel
