I had a situation many years ago when I was at a retreat and I was on the top bunk in the bedroom. I have been praying my rosary that night so I had my rosary in my hand. I awoke to being paralyzed and not being able to move and felt a presence of what I described as some sort of evil animal behind me trying to push me off of the bed. I was unable to move or to speak or even to form words in my mind. The only words that I was able to form in my mind were Jesus and Mary so I kept saying those words over and over in my mind. I didn't have to do that for very long before this presence left
The same exact thing happened to me in 1986 . I was alone in a 3 man barracks room on NAS North Island . I had just laid down in my rack and I was overcome with fear and paralyzed . I could only move my head . I didn’t see it but I felt this dark energy in my room and i had never been that scared in my life and I’m not someone that sees ghost or feels energy . I never experienced It before then or since . I called out to Jesus in my mind as I was levitating towards the window . It dropped me on the wrong rack , the top rack by the window that wasn’t being used . My Roomate was not there and it was only 2 of us billeted to a 3 man room . Thank You So much , I love this channel .

Recently, after my husband left for work, I heard him come back, open the door, and head towards me. When the steps where close to the bed and not seeing him or anyone, , my body paralyzed. I tried to call on Jesus and Mary; but, I could not remember their names. The thought was "the woman, the Mother of God"", and with that the spirit that was forcing something in my mouth, vanished. I calmly got up and headed towards the mirror to make sure my lips were not bleeding,. The object didn't leave a mark; but the area felt numb from the force of the object and my resistance. It lasted for a few minutes. I believe the attack was due to finally breaking a habitual sin. My prayers have to be unceasing for the grace of God to remain with me. Had a "sleep paralysis" episode myself once. Couldn't move or speak. Very frightening. When I mentally called Jesus' name and asked Him to help me it immediately lifted.
I have a prayer corner in my room, a votive candle burning all the time at Mary's statue, crucifixes everywhere. Still get occasional demonic dreams. I never said my prayer out loud. Thank you Father. Much appreciated. 3 Hail Marys for you.

Interesting! During my RCIA classes, the priest brought up that someone had come to him saying that he was having evil experiences while being caught between being awake and asleep. I had had those exact experiences, but they went away on their own. I never knew that anyone else even had such experiences. In any event, the priest said just start praying and the problem will go away. Amazing!
Well I used to swear a lot.... had phone sex where there is a lot swearing involved this was many many years ago before my embracing the faith again. But then the Holy Rosary and many prayers to St. Michael daily make it totally disappear from my mind. I have so much peace, peace that world doesn't understood nor knows where of. God is real. Jesus is real. All the things of spiritual life that was preached and warned is real. St. Michael keep defending us now and at hour of death !!!

This is a great story about St. Michael. Unlike pop culture super heroes like Iron Man and Wonder Woman, I consider him to be a real superhero. The secular world understands the individual’s need for super heroes and it seeks to fill our children’s imagination with their own versions. Can someone with knowledge in theology, explain where in the Gospel is there mention that we can pray for protection, to our Guardian Angel, or to Arc. Michael, or the Saints?!. I am confused. I know that our father said that HE was the way to our Lord. to ONLY PRAY TO Jesus.
Can you tell me where in the Bible did it say that The Bible contains all the Word of God and that the Bible is the only source of salvation and all truths? The Bible cannot contain all of God's Word so if you do that, you will miss out on some special privileges.. God is continually revealing things to humanity and He does so through dreams and visions He manifests to people He chose to reveal these. The Bible is our guide but it doesn't hold all the the other unwritten(oral tradition) messages of Jesus in His earthly ministry.

They probably give them an androgynous appearance because Angel's have no gender as far as I know. Though I have always wondered if some of the angels have differentiating characters or nature's in regard to masculinity or femininity. Not sure what the church's teaching on this is.
