Asked this before, and I must ask again: Why is it that Dr. Facilier is allowed here, with his own set piece, and even his Friends from the Other Side, yet was not allowed to appear in Tiana's Bayou Adventure?
@@kevinlee7678 I was literally thinking the same thing. He should've just appear on splash mountain like no trouble and do a retelling of the movie instead of searching for musical critters, just saying
Well, Disney does well with villains in Halloween season, while if it’s something that’s going to be there a long time they have a completion goal as the acolyte. Well, maybe part of it’s true or all of it, but even though I may be joking Disney just doesn’t know how to be entertaining. I mean look at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure the critters movement are more like puppet movements that they could put the muppet characters by them and it will still make sense. Well, they trust extreme money destroyers over the people who care about the money makers. So, let’s see how long it will last my guess somewhere between superstar limo and Journey into Your Imagination. Although, people may will think it will stay, it could but it may be changed to be more show ready. Even if a show is made based on the ride, it wouldn’t matter because only good things will be praised and bad things will be a disappointment.
Remember that show “Tiana’s showboat jubilee” in 2009? 1/3 of that show was Facilier. Without trying to sound like the “argh Disney is woke now” crowd, there was definitely a company shift in 2020 to reevaluate some sensitive topics, voodoo magic seems like a no-go now.
Is this at oogie boogie bash or just a normal day during the halloween season? I really want to see the headless horseman but don't want to pay to go to the bash just for that😩
When this parade first came out (2017?) it had a much creepier undertones, they kind of cleansed it as the years went by. I wish Disney went all out with the dark vibes. I mean who’s really the main demographic of OBB anyway? It’s not little kids.
This parade was planned for Oogie Boogie Bash but was ready before management was ready to switch the party over to California Adventure, so it premiered at Mickey’s Halloween Party. After the 2016 season there were a lot of complaints about the parade being too creepy for Mickey’s Halloween Party so they added Mickey and Minnie to the start of the parade for the 2017 season and kept the parade the same for the 2019 season when the parade moved parks. The creepy vibe of the 2016 parade turbo charged rumors about the Halloween party switching parks with a creepy undertone. OBB would’ve probably faced complaints of being “too creepy” if the 2016 version ran at the first OBB in 2019.
