  • Today on The Sword and The Trowel, Tom Ascol and Graham Gunden talk with Dr. Joe Rigney. They discuss a little bit of his background and how he got to where he is now in his theology and ministry. Then they get his thoughts on Christian Nationalism, the concern of nominal Christianity, and the need for a robust public theology: Does he identify as a Christian Nationalist? What does a Protestant public theology look like? How do we think theologically in a negative world?

I think God is giving many the same thoughts about preparing for the next revival - which always challenges sin so affects the whole of the created order including the civil sphere. That's encouraging - He leads us into all truth.

Good pod cast, but you have ignored the very rapid growth of the muslim world. Growth seen in the USA, Great B, and others. Is that the kind of country to bring up 2 or 3 generations in?
Talk about not relating to your own country. It is happening.
