I want to make something very clear, it’s not the gun that is the problem. Making guns illegal are not going to stop bad people from getting their hands on them. And even so, hunting bolt action rifles are just as dangerous so if anyone thinks that trying to ban “assault weapons” are going to just stop at semi automatic rifles, you are wrong. Making any gun illegal is only going to affect those who obtain them legally and use them lawfully.

    • @jeanhanner9407
      @jeanhanner9407 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Sure.. it was not the gun. It was the one having access to the gun with obvious mental health issues that was the problem. Not sure if you understand what Gun control laws would help with. It would help people with mental health issues from obtaining guns or ammo or any sort of weapon that could hurt themselves or anyone else. You guys have it all mixed up in your heads and do not see what the real issue is. Guns are not the problem... those who have free access to them are.

Then you need a background check for each gun bought. Which can take a few hours of standing around in the store while the sellers are on the phone with the people.
And then the pew costs a couple hundred bucks to a couple thousand.
That’s for law abiding citizens only.
      As for illegal pew owners.
      No back ground checks
      No mental checks
      No fingerprints
Sometimes they don’t even have to pay for the pew.
The kid who got this pew also didn’t need any of the hoops checked, nope, no law stopped him from getting it and using it.
So, stricter laws and rules would ONLY hurt law abiding citizens. Who will eventually not be allowed to protect themselves against people who don’t care about the very strict laws.
You’d basically only be punishing the kids father at that point who didn’t partake in the assassination. And the next kid to do this..will still be not affected by the strict laws.
Just curious how that will help, as this incident proves the point it won’t.😢

      It's always a " mental health " issue.
This morning a black man jumped off a moped and stabbed an army officer 70 times as he was leaving his barracks and walking across the street to go to his house to see his wife.
It is alleged that he was seen licking the blood off one of the two large knives he was carrying before he drove away from the scene.
Already our crooked political broadcasters and press are screaming " mental health ".
      Pathetic!
      This happened in London, Bonnie.
BTW the dead shooter could have been a " sacrificial lamb " for more sinister actors, a " patsy "if you will, like Lee Harvey Oswald and James Earl Ray.

Of course this turned into an anti AR rifle and gun control law arguement. The kid didn't even buy the damn thing, he took it from his dad. How about we fix the huge mental health problems going in in America? What is making Americans so angry that makes them want to go on a shooting spree? Ban "assault" rifles and they'll use pistols, ban pistols, they'll use shotguns, ban all guns and they'll use knives, ban knives they'll use sticks then stones... Get off this idea about guns and focus on all the BS that is making average Americans ticking time bombs because they feel like they are betrayed by their own government which has been the case the last 5 years if not longer.

A 20 yr old legal adult (yes still a young kid in some mindsight) with an AR.. however whats the answer if we raise the age to say 21.. then again it happens.. whats next, 23, 28. 30.. at what age is it acceptable.. What happens when an older man does it. Well that narrative of age goes out the window. ARs are bad.. so what if it wasnt an AR. Say the shooter used a take down .22 rifle with hollow points and a pop bottle stuffed with cotton or any other means to deaden the sound. Whats the knee jerk reaction then .raise the age..or remove all varmint/target guns.
The fact an AR was utilized after all the ban pushes that failed in courts is just oddly perfect or timed.
The real point is multiple leveles of security failed to consider covering areas where possible attacks could come from. Hell even lesser ranked members with prior backgrounds in military which are usually hired into LE,State Police or even federal agencies. I find it hard to believe sniper teams were not able to pick these vulnerabilities out. Im guessing they helped with the planning due to their specialized skill set and valuable input as where to be best implemented at. As for the excuse of communication issues between agencies. Its apparent spectators had no /communication/cellular issues with the live feeds, texts and videos that have came out since the incident. I just find it hard to believe the SS who have had decades of training and real world experience in covering these events should have this down to a science and damn near an art. As to what is needed for events and have since been vocal that LE, State and other federal agencies are vital to beef up their numbers for security.
This is a sad show of no accountability pointing fingers at all around trying to rationalize how an untrained 20 year old kid got past multiple layers of trained security. All while gaining access to a building he had no prior connections without anyone questioning who/why hes here. Let alone gain access to a ladder and climb on a roof with a backpack. Even if outside "security perimeter" did the building its self not have employees or anyone noticing this as part of their own securities.

Because in any active investigation you can’t disclose information even your local police department does that. Once it’s not an active investigation they can answer any questions Because if they are finding someone who is linked to it they can’t just blast it on the news before they interrogate or charge that person it just gives them a chance to run away or off them self’s. It’s the same as a person in your town is murdered and no one knows who did it and people want to know but the cops aren’t gunna list all the suspects before a they interrogate the suspects or before they 100% know who did it. They are investigating who’s linked to it or if anyone was in charge of this every day they get more suspects if they are finding evidence so they can’t just say it might be this person or we suspect this person all that does is give them chances to get ride of evidence, leave the country, kill them selfs so many reasons they won’t tell the public till it’s 100% proven an known

Democrats are not interested in finding out what happened. They want to use it to bash the troublemakers as they see them alias Republicans.
Nadler and Schiffty Schiff are doing Trump bashing. (Classic Schiff) "Does the FBI hire felons? No, but the opposition will hire one as president." Schiff and Nadler need to go and to be voted out of Congress.
Democrats are not ingratiating themselves. I would love to see their polls.
Everyone is watching, and 'We the People' are not watching them do campaign messaging. This is a reelection moment, and we see Democrats are not interested in keeping America safe from lunatics trying to kill our elected officials no matter what their party they belong too. All they are doing is proving to us is, they are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Why is no one asking the most obvious question? How did the boy know that the roof was one that was open and outside the secret service restriction zone? Next, he clearly did not bring a lader with him, so how did he know he would be able to get onto that roof that would be unguarded and out of view of law enforcement? He was very confident in his ability to safely get off the roof and would only need a distraction in order to get away after getting off the roof! All of which suggest he had inside entail giving him confidence in such!
