Well, the riding position has to be aggressive as it has been modelled as a cafe racer, so it's not a downside. Also, the engine gives 44NM torque at low RPM and trust me, most bikes wish to go faster at the green signals
That Suzuki GS150R guy also got some skill. I owned one GS150R for 7 years & driven it 1,52,658 kms exactly. Then passed it to relative with new engine parts. Extremely happy with the bike. After using it for 7 years. It won't vibrates even at 115-120 kmph. Big thumbs up for Suzuki. Now purchased an NS160. Let's see how far this one goes.

I have driven a Kawasaki ninja 650, a suzuki GSXR 1000 and a Tryumph Datona 675.
I have observed that all of these bikes vibrate at the redline despite them being equipped with an inline four cylinder engine.
So how could you complain that a bike with a single cylinder engine vibrates at redline !

I don't understand what's the problem of Indian reviewers specially some like you who always insult RE. Just TH-cam reviews of international reviewers of RE bikes and majority of them admire it.
All you guys are looking and can blame in an RE is just vibrating, Vibrating and vibrating. But be frank and tell how many of you do 100 plus speed everyday and on every trip. I mean most of the RE bikes are meant to be cruisers and not speed.

The point of Royal Enfield isn't cruisers. It's retro bikes. Old technology, old styling and old feel.
The Himalayan is an adventure bike, not a cruiser.
The Classic is a retro street.
The Bullet is a standard street.
Only the Thunderbird is a cruiser.
This bike is marketed by Royal Enfield themselves **as a cafe racer** not a cruiser. With that in mind, it doesn't perform very well, does it? I mean, you would expect a bike marketed **as a racer** to perform well.

i suggest u to spend some time (days ) with gt u will definitely love it and then review, and regarding vibrations ,yes there are lot of vibrations but this is bullet i did 140 easily on it .

This fellow always gives reviews on fancy cars , fancy bikes. Normal bikes of under 2 lakhs isn't cool enough for this guy . Always tries to find some fault with RE , hey it's not triumph Bonneville or Harley Davidson no . Only those bikes which cost around 8 lakhs and above are bikes for this guy.
I am not a typical RE guy who says that the bikes are awesome. They have normal specs and good looks that's all , not at all premium. I don't disagree with that. But that's what RETRO bikes mean. And that's what you will get for 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs. Show me which cruiser you will get for under 3 lakhs which look as majestic as RE. The only genuine competitor for RE I see are jawa and BENELLI IMPERIALE. BUT THESE TWO BIKES WERE LAUNCHED BECAUSE RE WAS SUCH A BIG HIT. Otherwise they wouldn't even be made.
And to the idiots saying RE is heavy. BC RE BIKES WERE MADE TO CARRY HEAVY LOADS IN HILLY TERRAINS , hence the high torque and low speed. IF YOU WANT SPEED BUY AN FZ OR KTM DUKE. RE was never meant for Speed and no one buys it keeping speed in mind. It's just annoying how dumbassess don't understand basic ergonomics of bike and talk shit haathi he, ye he, vo he. Haathi he toh khareed mat kaun bola tereko khareed ne keliye. Koi farak nahi padega, RE is anyways a hit.

RE tried something new and it worked , the features you get in the twins for 2.9 lakhs is very good compared to any other bike in 650cc segment. So you can stfu. RE is never about speed . I rode this bike max 152kmph...Rc 390 179kmph.. dominor 171kmph.. classic 350 132kmph..Classic 500 145kmph...And now recently Yamaha r3 at 192kmph the beast...

those rims are not ordinary and continental gt never gives mileage above 30. Being a gt owner , i do agree with all the things that you say but no other bike in that segment puts a smile on your face like the gt because its always fun to ride it

you can prevent the problem by watching my video about adavi eco tourism in which i had done some off roads and did 600 km in a strech but all thanks to the new handle bar setup.

Aravind A U if you see my dp you can see that I have changed the handle bars on mine too and I have added weights and also rubber pads to reduce vibes. I'm not standing by RE and supporting their machines. They seriously need to up their game in engine design. Their single's aren't any where near refinement. I'm just hoping they did not mess their new twinsm
I have got rid of vibration on my GT just by changing the stock exhaust to Red Rooster Performance exhaust & changing the engine oil to Motul 300V

this person is always biased. Faisal spreads negative vibes on RE. I have seen many videos of him. He likes gixer, praises Bajaj motorcycles. I accept that Faisal is a bike enthusiast but just question yourself Faisal whether what you are doing is correct or not.
Because RE bikes are not worth buying, there is no value for money tho, i guess you should question yourself.

I believe that reviewers like you, can’t portray a good pictures of low end bikes because when you’ve ridden a (and in your case a lot) liter class bike all other bikes are just mopeds for you.
And I think 44 Nm of torque is enough here on the Indian roads it’s not that we are going to take it on a track.

I used to have the black gt 535cc. I had bought it as a second hand during college. But at that time my knowledge was just soooo little about autos . So the bike always everytime gave me problems , somedays it wouldn't start and at that time pocket money was also not enough to maintain my bike . I sadly had to sell it

No one have tried it bro , because there are only few GT 535 Owners . Infact I own one but haven’t given it a thought , I was looking to fix the 650’s handle bars assembly though but even the RE Guys have no clue about it ( sadly ) . Such a nice bike but can’t compare it with the thruxton , don’t understand why this rider compared it with that :( .
