This demo is righteous for a variety of reasons, the two most important to me though are that you are illustrating everything beautifully, and that the sound you're making/demoing is pure win.... Fucking right m8!
Just Friends is actually super-straightforward… until you get into the run modes. While there’s an underlying logic to them, they’re sort of like bonus “advanced” features and they continue to feel a little opaque and arbitrary. You just learn them (or ignore them).
Hey Martin, I really like your series of videos exploring Just Friends - thank you. This patch sounds interesting, can you briefly explain how you've set it up please?
Thanks. The main thing is that Intone is at noon, which makes all six outputs of Just Friends almost identical. A simple sequence is running into the 1V/O. LFOs into RAMP, CURVE and the Ripples cutoff add timbral variation across an otherwise monotonous recording.
I just finally got Just Friends and it's a spectacular bit of kit.

Awesome. Thanks for this. This module is interesting, yet confusing. Your videos help.

Well, you video series definitely made me want one, so "thanks" (as if I need another module :-)).

Thanks, I'll give it a go.
