All you young guys, feel fortunate. As you get past 60 or so your pants start to sag and your wife starts asking "Where did your rear end go" The prospect of all that bike riding is a fearsome endeavor when there is no padding for a comfortable ride. Good stuff guys. Lord Bless.

I know 65 year olds that will smoke most 25 year olds on the man bike trail. I know a 68 year old who can do a 10 minute wheelie uphill on a trail while passing people

In thick stuff 15 to 20 yards but can't see them, sounds like the thickets I have to hunt whitetails in IL and WI.

Just wondering if you guys were allowed to use ebikes?
It depends on the timberlands rules. Most companies around Oregon don’t allow use of e-bikes unless it’s open for vehicles. Every management company has a different policy. Be sure to check before you go.
I know it sounds ridiculous...and they're awkward to wear hunting, but if you guys plan on hunting off of the bikes more in the future, padded bike shorts are an absolute game-changer! I gave them a try and I will admit as dumb as it feels wearing them, I don't think I'd ever hunt off a bike without them because being saddle sore is not an issue anymore...just food for thought
