I’m super late to this, but I just want to say… I love how P’Payu handled the situation with Rain missing the deadline. First he gives him immediate emotional comfort and validates his feelings. Then he tells him how it is, he did mess up, it was his fault and he should learn from it and move forward. And finally in this episode he gives him motivation like “if you want us to keep going with this you need to sort yourself out”. I feel like at this point he understands how Rain works, if you tell him he can’t do something he will strive to prove you wrong. It only took Rain a small amount of time to get back on his feet and rise to the challenge.
Yes, Payu asked Rain if he could do it, in the uncensored version you read the translation, with the as in the book, so there is consent. Also Payu behaves in a very sweet way I would say, very gentle with Rain in his first experience. I wish I had a P Payu at the time.
That said, what about ... honestly shocked, I didn't expect that even though in the book there is the exact same scene in chapter 4. I think it's one of the hottest NC scenes I've ever seen in a Bl after KinnPorche, I think it's we will see more and more in the series from now on because KinnPorsche has kicked off, has raised the bar, the production companies have understood well what the public is about and thank goodness we would have still had series with silly kisses clearly false. However, to the courage of the prosecution, the director and the excellent actors who portrayed a scene that could be vulgar in a delicate way and I would dare to say not at all disturbing, at least as far as I'm concerned, you don't see anything pornographic or morbid. And so ... I can only say we are waiting for the second couple which will be no less than the first. Mame. the writer of the novel, has done an excellent job with this series.

This scene is so much better than the vegaspete scene lol, their kisses are more passionate, the touches more natural, plus the moaning, even the way it was filmed looked a lot better imo
when I started the ep 4, I thought it was gonna be an innocent but NO got to the last part and I was shocked too hahaha
I agree with you on the edit part. They really mess up the cuts between the scene, resulting the story jumbled here and there. Even the bgm on many scene got cut out awkwardly. It was a shame though, bcs the actors chemistry and camera work was top notch. The edit seems so unprepared 😬

🫧 So I was listening to someone that’s was giving spoilers of what is in the book lol so what you mention about the timeframe how it was edited - this is supposed to be days or weeks passing throughout the entire episode like a montage of some sort. If it wasn’t for me listening I think I would’ve been lost too. At the end my thought is since he spends time at the shop doing his work that’s him taking a break sometime in between his school work.

the weird editing i think is because they are trying to fit 2 books in 13 episode of series.
they rushed the details so they could get to the main plot
i agree when you said they have some unnecessary scene that could be filled with something better
they expect that viewers of this series read the novel before they watch it so they could understand it better. I read them before so i understand some weird transition between the scene and places
so i understand for those who never even know the existence of the novel would feel left out and confused

I really like the show but I fine Rain's character really annoying like why would you stand in the rain waiting on him he (Rain) has done many things that I really have to question the mentally of this young man....
I think it is to emphasize their bonding and relationship, they meet each other first time in the rain right? Rain's annoying and childish character make P'Payu dislike him, thats why he want Rain to be responsible and grow up before making a decision to chase him or doing stupid thing 😅
