This little tid bit about the twanger actually helped me connect a dot tonight. You have told me to focus in the feeling in the throat not the nasal resonator but it really hit home in this video. It makes a ton of sense to me at this particular moment.
Great video man. I can relate hard to many of those layers of the journey. Thanks for shedding light on the confusion, I think many singers browsing here on yt (including me) need it.
I can relate! ...got the same book and had the same point of confusion.... "wait why am i singing 'goo'?". I'd power through the exercise but had no idea that the sound was trying to train subtle muscle co-ordination... and then knowing that still doesn't help - how do I know if I'm moving the right things in the right way!? may as well be invisible!
Love this video. Ha ha , i have the mp3 of those exercises. Seth had some good ideas though. Melissa Cross was a huge game changer for me that taught Randy from Lamb of God and Sick of it All.. Great thoughts and info you shared.
