This isn’t a new gen yet from the looks of it - not sure this qualifies as a midcycle refresh either. This is the same current gen that just got a new hybrid engine spec. I think the “updated” real tail lights you’re referring to are actually from a totally different HR-V (as it’s called in North America - it’s called the ZR-V elsewhere).
@@TheMrJourneyer the face lifted rear tail lights are two straight lines. Somehow not in this model although front grille looks like facelift models in Thailand.
@@limkientiong Ahh, you might be right. So yeah, it’s an odd Frankenstein of a car. Even the infotainment doesn’t seem updated? Hybrid will work well, but hoping the rest of the car will too.

Whats going on with Honda or japanese legacy brands lately.. always a knock off on their units now less power and with higher price tag just to save gas.. also if you are buying a car why always worried about fuel consumption knowing what vehicle specs the car have. Anyways people being tricked by reliability and parts availability thats already a burned statement.. lots of japanese legacy owners having their vehicle in the casa for months as well specially the newer units. Now with hybrid and RS logo comes with a higher price tag less improvements besides the wireless charging and power tailgate come on honda you can do better than that you can offer more. Thats why some people switch to chinese cars lately due to competetive price and better features and quality of the vehicle they come a long way.. I know some will say about the durability and realibility of the car it doesnt matter what car you get if the owner dont know how to take care of their cars it will break in some ways..lets see how this will price by march.

1.9M PHEV? I’d rather get a full BEV like the Tesla Model 3 priced at 2.3M. Trumps this HRV in tech and performance. Also, no more filling up for gas, and less maintenance. Edit: The Model 3 is actually just 2.1M PhP.
Hope they can price it competitively enough to convince buyers to go with honda vs other chinese brand such as byd, or if they are gonna price it higher make sure they offer more. Im totally with japanese brands but seriously chinese brands offers a lot with lesser price.
Same here but that’s doubtful, since Japanese brands are kind of hard-headed. Hence, they’re being undercut by Chinese brands. Now, some might argue that the price differential is worth the “reliability” of Japanese cars. But, a few clicks worth of online research would show that Japanese brands are also plagued with quality control issues. So, to each their own.
Specially they didnt sold a lot of HR-V because one they say no available units( not sure if its true), two higher price tag, three less features for the price. Now maybe this will have the same faith as the turbo and RS HRV. If Honda dont price this hybrid competitively since there are other brands out there with a better price tag with more features added to it that is also a Hybrid. Like BYD and MG in the market

So wait... no Display HUD, no Bose Speakers, no Panoramic Sun Roof... no ventilated seats... no 360 camera... and tailights isn't the updated 2025 version... and it looks like a cheap CRV. All for what? 1.8m? I'd rather get a BYD sealion 6 or a Corolla Cross... or at 1.9m, id rather get a Rav4
@ Yeah I don't get it. With all the intense competition from other new local car brands like BYD / Toyota (cutting down 300k for their hybrids last year), who is the target market for this? Honda fuccbois who gaslight themselves to buy this? I own a 10th gen civic and was going to get the RS HRV Turbo but I cancelled, hoping that the new HRV HEV will be a better buy than a HEV CRV RS but turns out it's such a badly priced vehicle with subpar offerings. At 1.9m you're crossing the 2m line and you can get good vehilcles at 300k more like the Rav4, Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, even a Lexus LBX is a better option at 2.5m

Its the Philippines, we always get the trimmed down versions for whatever reason.
The infotainment looks cleaner. Doesn't look like an old tv anymore haha
in america and other markets their infotainment looks cleaner and has nicer UI than PH
Any Info on pricing/release date of the lower trims (S/V)? I've heard that these Will still be ICE/non hybrids
Meron pa bang spare tire hybrid variant ng HR-V?
Bring the City HEV to SEA market
They won't as it'll be priced at 1.4 Million Pesos 😂
Nobody would buy a Honda City Hybrid at 1.4 Million Pesos 😂
Damn still no 360 cam tipid niyo naman Honda.
No more turbo?
Infotainment still not similar with the Civic? Ang tipid ng honda sa upgrades
oo nga eh pero atleast yung crt look. pangit nun
the number of horses for this new variant is disappointing though the torque is acceptable
Nice

I doubt if this unit can compete with BYD sealion. 😊
