Hi Cindy, I found your voice is lovely. I assumed that you were a teenager girl when I was watching your videos that are years ago where you didn't show your face. Until today I hit your profile and watched this video, I realized that you still look like a teenager as well. I am learning French. Love from Australia.
Hello dear Cindy, I am very grateful for your very impressive teaching with such useful explanation on important aspects of the French alphabet and its speech sounds. I am so pleased and feel optimistic because of you to get continual progress in learning French. Thank you for the lesson and your hard work to present it wonderfully. See you in your other teaching videos. Kie Sen, Indonesia 🙏
This is the most helpful video I have seen in my effort to learn French. I can read and write fairly well but listening and speaking not so good. This will help. Merci beucoup!
Hi, your videos are really helpful. Thank you! I'm a total beginner but I want to learn another language and French is my favorite. I think you also have a nice voice when speaking English. Thank you very much! Merci beaucoup!
Thanks a lot mam your lessons are awesome it helped me a lot with my French mam please upload videos weekly again thanks for making this spectacular lessons. Merci beaucoup
You are an excellent teacher! Like my high school Spanish teacher, who was also excellent, you inform your students about the reasoning behind the word pronunciations. Thank you!
I just found your TH-cam channel and I am really enjoying it. I am starting at the beginning and I think you do a really great job at teaching French. Thank you for posting your videos.
You really remind me of another TH-cam linguist who teaches Spanish. Her name is Butterfly Spanish. You both have a very big personalities that engage listeners. Your lessons are insightful and relatable. Thank you for doing this for all of us!
Thank you for your clear nicely paced lessons. I love your English accent, without any hint of French, if only I could speak French as well as you speak English. One thing does puzzle me is how you pronounce ‘adjectives’ with just two syllables instead of three. Never heard it pronounced that way. Many thanks for your videos.
Besides pronunciation, could you please teach us 3 elements of prosody--- stress, rhythm, and French unique intonation ? These are other sides of spoken French, but so far all videos do not yet teach these essential.elements. Wikipedia has an article on French intonation. Merci beaucoup.
tysm for this video. i am wondering and maybe i havent finished the video but "y" in "crayon" is there a rule where the "y" is silent? again, thank you!!!
Lundi.. Is landi!. I thought i woukd be lahndi.. Something likee this pronunciation. 😳... Pronunciation in french iz most difficult.. No word is actually pronunced the way its writen.. Whyyyyyyyy
Actually spelling and pronunciation does follow rules, it's just there a a lot of rules. Once you know all the rules you can figure out how to pronounce most new words by their spellings. You can watch "spelling-sound correlations in french for beginners" on the Frenchsounds channel to get a good basic overview of how to pronounce french words by their spellings.
You are the best French teacher I've watched so far very easy to understand you

There's no such thing as the French alphabet; A, B, C etc etc are letters of the English alphabet.
