Maybe it is free gold for a jungler but not every jungler is gonna care about your lane and even if you get a kill it doesnt necessarily makes the lane easier. I can agree that ranged top isnt some op shit because its not. It's just really annoying to play against.

Warwick is statistically speaking very unskilled though, 2nd easiest champ outside of supports. Vayne isnt sum faker mechanics type champ but there is a huge difference in skill requirement for the 2 being compared

I played against Drututt both on Kayle and Akshan. The Akshan game was... stressful to say the least.

@@tobywessling1282im gonna assume you’re talking about ranged top , but ranged top is miles harder to play in high elo. your entire game is balanced around that fact that you should be able to win lane. however if you don’t you have little to no impact whatsoever in comparison to a losing splitpusher like a trynda or a losing tank like ornn simply because those champions can still work with way less gold. (if you’re talking about his off-meta picks like kayn and naafiri, there’s a reason why they’re off-meta lol)
i truly do like both drutta and mr hornlime but to consistently play ranged top in high elo challenger is a completely different dynamic in the game than in any other rank where it makes it much harder if you can’t play significantly better than the enemies.

druttut likes playing range top, and hes mechanically good enough for chall, the issue i sometimes have with him is that he complains about champs being meta while playing off meta.
Mostly because all the meta champs are the same for like 4 consecutive patches

So he complains that meta is mostly point and click cc heavy champions which are not fun to play while playing off-meta, mostly zero to no cc, squishy champions with a lot of damage which are fun to play. What is the issue here?
@@trnaltmark9061 not even patches, YEARS. Like, sure there were a few months since 2019 when Jax, Renekton and Aatrox weren't meta but for the most part they are almost always meta and he has no interest in playing them or meathead "gigachads" like Darius, Olaf, Garen and he HATES TANKS (the sole reason he plays Gwen sometimes). Drututt doesn't have any problems with Riven, FIora, Camille, Jayce, GP being meta because those are more interactive and skill intensive lanes compared to Olaf/Rumble just 24/7 running at you, some bruisers like Renekton/Aatrox being immoveable wall in lane that can also kill you or tanks straight up hostaging the lane (like they don't necessary fully coinflip the game since the skill outside the lane matters too, but they make the fundamental core thing of solo lanes (both toplane and midlane) - laning really boring and not important. The point of him being a bit whinny about meta when he is constantly off-meta (Zeri, Kaisa, Nilah, Samira, Aphelios top) is valid but so is drututt's critic of stale meta. Especially, since he doesn't really abuse anything, there is reason Akshan 90% of the time is being played midlane (apart from a few exceptions like Drututt, Lourlo and Migung) and I would love to see someone else being able to constantly pull off Samira top while he uses her as a legitimate counter to Fiora and Irelia and outplays them. I'd rather see more those kind of counters where skill still matters than the typical ones where one goes something like Malphite into Jayce/Poppy into Riven and the other guy just can't play by default and gameplay barely matters.

I don't think it synergizes that well with warwick's kit. None of his abilities scale with health
@TheBigBangHannes That's the funny thing, it functions with demonic embrace which synergies with his healing via q. Try titanic, heartsteel, either sunfire aegis or spirit Visage and demonic with lich bane. The apron scales with health and so does your ad with titanic. Which warwick enjoys both. You become an absolute monster if you start your stacks early.

Hornlime when will there be an item guide? I'm a new Warwick top player and I don't know what to build. I always build Tiamat Guinsoo's Hullbreaker BorK Lethal but when I look at your videos you don't do this. I don't know when to go Divine, Iceborn Gauntlet, Stridebreaker, Guinsoo's, etc. Should BorK always be built? When do you go Stridebreaker aswell?
I will soon make a guide for that. I just don't know when it will come out.

I don't play WW, I'm assuming you went W max because you need it to get into ranged right, but why no points into q?
You max w first because the speed and auto attack buff with its passive. Warwick does most of his damage with auto attacks and not with q. You go E second because it’s damage resistance buff gets stronger, which helps a lot. You go Q last because it’s damage is less than what you’d do by getting off more autos with w and e, also it costs more mana when leveled up and Warwick has a lot of mana issues if you use too many leveled up Qs in lane. This is what he does in every matchup
