- Christy McGinity was always a familiar face thanks to her numerous minor roles in films, but it was her stint at Little Women: LA that propelled her to reality TV stardom. The show that debuted in 2014, chronicled the lives and relationships of a fabulous group of women with dwarfism who lived in Los Angeles. Since Christy departed from the famous show, she hasn’t appeared on any reality TV show barring a few cameos. So, let's take a look at what happened to the show’s most beloved lead cast member.

I'm so sad to hear that she lost her 2 week old baby. The baby was so adorable. Terra treated this woman like garbage and it was upsetting to watch. Terra claimed to hate bullying and the mistreatment of little people but I've never seen anyone treat little people worse than Terra herself
It is why I quit watching the show. Her n Tonya n sometimes Elena(as well as random other little women terra brought on)acted like they were those toxic girls in high school. It was sickening to watch them scheme & back bite eachother...as well as Terra bringing her man into it as well. 🐢🐢🐢cara
Yes!!! Tara was the biggest bully and biggest instigator in the show and it’s sad that they all act like she’s some type of goddess, I’ve never liked her
Are you kidding me. Christy was a shot starter. She was always in somebody's business and when she was confronted for the things she said or did, she would say she was being bullied. For instance. She brought Joe's ex to the party when she knew that was out of order. Laughing when she asked who was the father of their baby. Telling everyone's business when she wasn't supposed to. She kept doing stupid shit.

She got surgery so she didn’t loose the weight. She took the easy way out.

Terra is also a producer of the show. She made Christy the villain when all along it was her. Christy is a good person.

Terra is a horrible person. She’s a hypocrite, a one-upper, and she and her husband together are an extremely toxic duo. Her husband is just as negative and judgmental as she is.
She had the benefit of editing footage and she STILL came out looking like a bully, so her behavior was actually probably WORSE than what we saw. She is truly awful, watching how she and her husband brainwashed Cole against Autumn and Christy was just plain gross.
Christy and Jasmine were the best cast members by far.

It was such a pleasure meeting Christy in Walmart today. She was so gracious taking pictures with her fans that recognized her. She actually helped me pick out the proper shade of CC foundation. She was just so sweet. ❤

I always liked Christi....most of the time she was bullied by the others! That wasn't right at all🤦🏾♀️. But on a lighter note I'm glad that she's doing ok since the show despite some ups & downs here & there :))
Sorry but Terra was kinda a mean girl and I Iiked her at first. I don't like shows where producers are also part of the content because; let's be honest, they won't show anything that makes them look bad. Only other cast members will be made to look bad. Glad Christy is doing well and sorry for her loss.

Absolutely! Getting away from a toxic relationship probably allowed her to really focus on herself and find happiness. My heart breaks for her losing her precious baby though 😢

How did Christi say she never consummated her marriage,? But weren’t they “trying” for a baby all season 4.
That could have simply been the producers trying for an interesting storyline. If she mentioned wanting another child, and though nothing was going on between the couple, the producers could have made it into something it wasn't.

Ok I watched every show that aired. In the beginning of her and Todds marriage according to both of them they was trying to have a baby. There was several eppisodes that showed her saying she was "late" on her period. They took serveral pregnacy tests. Even going to the doctor checking to see if they both could successfully conceive a child. According to the test results Todd had low and slow moving sperm. So her statement about them not EVER having sex is another twisted lies. Yes she delt with tragedies through her life and Iam truly sorry for her. So those who say she is a victim needs to watch the show from start to finish and pay attention to alot more that goes on.

Penny was laying on the floor unbathed and not walking at 2 yrs old and the Dad said, big deal. She's on Penny time. She's fine. I believe she was 3 yrs old or older before they did something to help Penny walk. Tera was on Dancing with the Stars with a newborn at home. But she's Super Women and A Great Mom. Lol She put herself first always.

The baby died because she was born with the double dominant dwarf gene that’s how she died not because she was a premiee

No. That is not the same thing as a premie. It’s a double dominant gene. If two dwarfs (little people) have a child together, they could each pass their genetic disposition to the child, if it receives both genes the survival rate is extremely low. Has nothing to do with being a premie.

I went to school with Christy new bf...he's a nice guy! Popular in college.
I personally thought she often behaved horribly on the show, creating drama and flat out lying to people, breaking promising, betraying trusts. I hope that was just the character she was playing, part of the "reality" show storyline because if that was how she really is then she's very untrustworthy and manipulative and she has a lot of bad traits for real life but great for reality TV I guess. I do wonder why people show thenselves to be of such poor character on TV for money. A person's honesty and integrity should be of more value to them but with so many people today it's simply not, people really cheapen themselves for money for material items. The way adults behave on reality shows contributes to people thinking it's OK to behave pretty terribly in general. It's all pretty sad, really.
