Showing all the different possible styles and types of straight drives. No one is even close to Ab devilliers in terms of batting ability. No virat no sachin no steve Smith and not even God himself. This seems unacceptable for some Indians but guys if your a real cricket fan you know it. I'm a big Tendulkar fan but then Ab devilliers came and kohli came while people compared kohli to Tendulkar i never did so coz i know kohli is a great batsman but he is no where near Tendulkar in ability, talent or skill except the determination but yeah one man matches and even better than Tendulkar and that is Ab devilliers. The real greatest of all time and honestly there will b no one like Ab devilliers again. We r lucky that we have witnessed sportsman like Ab devilliers, Messi, and Ronaldo.

Joe root can play cover drive and straight drive of front foot and back foot he can play back foot square drive, square cut and glance,pull ,sweep,flick and fine cut just like Ab devillers. Virat isme se half shots bhi nahi khelsakta bhai virat mehnat se patience se runs banata hai vo bhi bohot great hai bina sab shots ke bhi itna consistency runs banata hai lekin technically itna talented nahi hai. Sachin tha sachin ke pass ye sab shots the jo Ab devillers aur joe root khelsakte hai but Ab devillers technically jitna strong hai utna hi innovative bhi hai and that where he is invincible

now coming to your point how i judge players i judge them by performance no matter how bad they look to you if ones performance over a period of time is better than other for me that player is better. beauty is very subjective brother a person who have watched viv play in his prime will not find any otherv player as aesthetic as viv. same goes for other great players. from bradman , hutton, hobbs, headley, sobers, gavaskar, hutton, ploock, crowe tendulkar lara ponting fans find his or her players more beatuiful than others. i judge them on performance.
if you want to debate on performance lets debate. i can prove to you that ab is not the best test player of his generation. i can prove to you that he is not the best odi player of his generation and he is not in the list of best t20i batsman of his generation. if you find the courage to debate on facts and performance not on how stylish and magnificent one looks brother i am all ears.
