I need to give Pol'and'Rock a try this year. Here in Gdańsk, we have the Mystic Festival, but it's much heavier and doesn’t involve a motorcycle ride, which totally sucks 😁
I test rode the V7 and found it a bit too agricultural. The gearbox was very clunky and the TFT did not seem to match what was happening with the bike, especially the Gear Indicator. Loved the styling and history but not the actual experience. My Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 had a major meltdown on the way to the demo so I probably wasn’t in the best frame of mind! 😩 Ended up buying a RE Continental GT which was super smooth in comparison 👍
@@UncleLongbeard in that case the V7 has bags of character 😊 but the RE GT is one of the best I’ve ridden. Are you still looking at the Meteor or Bear 650 🤔
The main reason why RE gearbox is smoother is the chain drive vs shaft drive in guzzi. My beemer is pretty agricultural as you said as well. That is because the shaft drive do not have the soft connection like chain which is making it less metalic and clunky. But yes I am considering RE but not Meteor or Bear but Classic 650 only.
Festival looked a lot of fun, crazy that's free. Line-up looked just as bad as Glastonbury tbh , but you have to pay a packet for Glastonbury .. was fun back in the 90s when we could still jump the fence and there were actually great bands still playing like The Smashing Pumpkins , Portishead , Radiohead etc ... the lake looked great btw ! Thanks for showing us more of Poland.
A few years ago there was no fence whatsoever and barely any security. Today we have some fence, checks and you can't bring bottles there no more. Which is totally understandable but on the other hand, if there could be like 25 editions with no major incidents, then why to change it?

am looking to retire to Poland. The lifestyle looks much better to
me anyway.
There are pro's and cons as always but some aspects of the lifestyle are better for sure.

It's worth visiting at least once in your lifetime.
So I guess the bands and security get paid from the tenting and food service costs?
I think there is plenty of voluntarily jobs there as overall it's all for the charity

RE is nice as well but some might consider that smoothness as the lack of character, so each to their own ;) but both are good looking motorcycles
