Let's keep in mind that this was Dimash's first big solo concert
Aside from singing, Dimash has a charisma. Why do I find myself singing to his songs in Kazakh, Russian, Chinese, Japanese even if I don’t speak these languages!!!
MJ is Dimash's favorite artist. His music video "Be With Me" is done in the style of MJ. It reminds me of MJ's "You Rock My World".
Dimash said this about MJ: “For as long as I can remember, I’ve always admired Michael Jackson. I listened to his songs on cassette tapes and watched every new music video with great enthusiasm. When I became an artist, I always thought that I wanted to do something Michael Jackson style, thus paying tribute to his memory. And I’m very happy that my dream came true when we released ‘Be With Me’.
And then Dimash got a gift - poster of MJ with his signature from one lady Dear, and the date MJ wrotte on that poster, was Dimash's birthday - 30 years old poster.

On this one they also threw in footage from when he did "The Earth Song" with a rapper. The one I prefer is Singer 2017 Episode 13, where he sings a tribute medley with Laure Shang. That earlier one includes a bit of "The Earth Song" at the end with a children's choir, and a surprise section where he plays an instrument you probably haven't seen him play.

Well if we're going on the "Bastau" show check the song "Qazaqstan" at the beginning where he shows off. And many more from there, I think it's one of his best appearances. Enormous production. He rocks the place 2,5 hours straigth. Maybe a Dimashathon?? I guarantee you will enjoy. Great work, we always check your reactions!

Fun reaction. Thing about the MJ footage is that it may not have been at the concert. Gloria Wu is phenomenal in the videos she prepares and the research she provides. MJ has been Dimash’s idol forever - he’s been a big influence on his career and Dimash has included a tribute to him in many of his concerts.
